10% of people don't want to talk to me
I started keeping stats on the people I called.Out of a 100 prospects reached (meaning the people that were actually on the list), 10 basically hung up or said "Awright, thanks have a great day"
I just taught that people hanging up on you were part of the game. But I was a bit surprised that 1 out of 10 didn't want to talk to me. Is that normal?
I'm doing a super salesy intro though, basically I tell them they have been selected to take parts in exceptional offers.
Which for some prospects is true, because usually the offers I have are only found in retention and by doing negotiation and complaining for several hours.
What if they're not stars? What if they are holes poked in the top of a container so we can breath?
Cheers, Laurence.
