Types of Offline Businesses Doing 1 million or more in sales

Hey Warriors,

I know theres sites like manta and zoominfo to looking up a potential business client on how much a business makes a year.

But I wanted some help if any you guys know some niches/industries are are likely doing 1 million a year or more per sale?

Also would the services you offer differ in price depending on how much the company makes per year?

I know it may differ per city/niche but i thought I get your guys 2cents.

Thanks

How much a company makes in a year won't really have any effect on the value of your offer. Charge based on the size of the problem you are fixing for the client, not on how much money they are generating on a yearly basis.

    Hey,

I went and found this short 3 min video that I thought would be of great help to you. This guy talks about a few really great offline niches to target.

Also, I do believe that how much the company makes per year does affect the offer. In addition to this, It would differ depending on the industry.

    Hope this was hepful!

Sales. but profit would be better but 1 million in sales would be fine.

Its really not that much for local businesses.

1 million in profit in the restaurant industry would equal around 9 million in sales. 9 million / 360 days = 25,000 in sales daily. I do not know of any restaurants doing that kind of business anywhere.

As far as 1 million in sales. I would guess that there are tons of businesses doing this in sales all around you.

Besides sales volume, what other criteria are you looking for?

          Hi
I say it depends on the type of business you are running. Restaurant businesses, mobile devices, app development businesses are earning lots these days.

A million a year in sales isn't all that much. Most businesses with 5 or more full time employees are doing that. I would concentrate on businesses that are currently spending good money on advertising...in any media. Those are the people that will give you money.

You see a business with a large ad on Yellowpages.com? They're already believers.

Except for possibly mowing yards or delivering pizzas...every niche has plenty of operators doing 7 figures a year.

Language training organisations for companies, executives, managers and professionals.

Specifically English (and now Chinese is on the rise) as a second / foreign language, for employee groups or 1:1 sessions with management level, execs and company directors.

It has been a safe offline business model for a long time now in Europe (Spain, France particularly), though barriers to entry can be quite high.

Note: there's a big difference between this level of consulting and a standard private language academy (teaching general English to teenagers), you could make a living running one, but the higher rewards are in consultancy.
