National Rent a Site - Advice Needed Please

So I have a slipped disc and cannot work at the moment. I have plenty of spare time and thought about starting a rent a site business.
Basically my idea is to have one huge site covering the whole country e.g. mylocalmonkeyfeeder. co.uk
What I plan on doing is ranking 4 or 5 long tail keywords in as many small towns within one main city as possible.
For example my city could be Liverpool but I would be ranking for terms like...
Monkey feeder cost huyton
Monkey feeder service huyton
Monkey feeder in huyton
Best huyton monkey feeder
Huyton would be the town, I would then do the same for all towns within a 10 mile radius for example and would end up with 40 - 50 pages ranking in the one area.
My idea then is to rent all 50 of those pages to one monkey feeder business in the area. All pages will contain said businesses contact details
Once that area is rented I will move onto the next city and do the same again.
Are any of you doing this, is it a viable business idea.
