HI,

I am offline marketer selling mobile design services and i want to offer more services to my offline clients.

I would like to offer services to offline clients that will get them more online exposure like:

press releases,
video marketing,
directory listings,
blogs,

I am looking for more ways beside the ones I've mentioned above that will gain more exposure for businesses. online.

Thank you for your contributions.

Hello, well other things you can do is learn Facebook marketing and how to setup a good fan page for those businesses. You can also use other social media outlets too, such as instagram and pintrest...depending on the type of business.

Setting up a small blog could also be beneficial, and putting an opt-in box on their blog will allow these businesses to build an email list. That way they can send promotions to their growing list of prospects.

There are also some fiverr gigs you can do that will get these businesses more exposure, however...you have to be careful on which ones you choose since some of them are a waste of time and money.

    Hope these helped.

Here is the strategy that I use when dealing with a client. In general I am going to go after a prospect with a single product or service. You current product would be a mobile web site. Once you have that sold, it now becomes you JOB to ensure that the outcome or the return for that client based on thatproduct or service you sold them is a successful one.

Part of your "JOB" is to make the not so subtle hints that placing the sites URL on all of their printed materials is a good idea. Be it print ads or BUSINESS CARDS, or Letter head and the like. ( I upsell printed goods - I have now sold a second service to the client, and it overall benefits the primary service sold ) What about a banner out front that says "Hey we have a new site www check this out .com" ( another service sold. )

To compliment the reach of the mobile site I would suggest a Desktop site. A simple one is all that is needed ( another service sold ) I then can sell Google and bing places listing to get them geo specific traffic ( another service sold ) you can then suggest that creating a social footprint is good for the development of traffic be it directly related to the social platforms or the benefits that can be had for SEO purposes. ( another sold service )

You can the make the connection that creating an online store takes their 9 to 5 store and turns it into a 24/7money making machine. ( again another service sold )

The overall idea here is to BUILD one apon the other. One service or product supporting the one before it. you no longer are selling a mobile site you are positioning yourself to sell a system. Be it a system that gets people in the door, or on the phone, or buying product on a website. You are developing SUCCESS for your client, that in return this will ensure success for yourself. + you walk out of there with $5000 and everyone is happy about it! ha ha

It depends on your client's business.

I would go for social media: videoblog or sharing interesting insights of the industry etc.

Social media doesn't provide a positive ROI for the majority of offline businesses.

If you don't know how to gain more exposure for your clients, maybe you should recommend them to someone that can?

The last sentence in your post seems to be the answer to the question. One little correction. Instead of that can it is who can. Who means person and I'd bet you are a person who can deliver.

I have done video, and still do, but the one service that is in real demand is leads. Just offer business owners a few free leads and they will gladly pay you. I don't even hide how I get my leads. I tell them upfront where I advertise and say I can send them some as a free trial.

The trick, if you can call it that, is to list a bunch of sources even though maybe only one or two of those really pan out. They're thinking no way they want to do that on their own and I get their business.

Social media sites like Facebook and Twitter are essential for the marketing of any business. However, the popularity of locally based social media sites– Yelp, Google Places, Bing Maps, and Foursquare–is growing steadily.
These are sites that are connected to geographical locations offline. They allow customers to find the local businesses and services they’re looking for. Through interactive features, customers can get coupons, check-in to locations, and write reviews for others to read. Other sites such as instagram are also useful if you use hashtags to indicate your location, city, country, and so on.

You should also help them with an effective sales funnel. Getting a lot traffic that doesn't convert doesn't help.
