Best way to find telemarketers/sales reps?

Trying to get my dietary supplement into Naturopathic, Holistic and Functional Medicine doctors' offices. I have a distributor in the EU doing that but in the US I cannot get an appointment, have a phone call returned or email returned no matter what I do.

Is there a better way to go about trying to pitch my product to Natural Doctors? Hire a telemarketer to cold call them all day? In person reps?

Any thoughts are appreciated,

    Hi,

    As I have been on the field of marketing for a long time, I guess both have its advantages. Hiring a person representative will give you an edge in persuading your customers. The facial expression is a plus factor however when you hire a telemarketer then it would cost less than hiring a real sales person who would hop from different places to sell your product. All you got to do is find the best telemarketing company.

    Hiring a telemarketer or sales rep at this point would be pointless. If what you're doing in the EU market works, great. Keep it up. If you're trying to replicate it in the US market, and are getting zero success, then you have to fine-tune your strategy and get some replies before you just hire someone. Hiring someone when you're getting results is like firing at a coke can in the dark blindfolded.

    Eventually you'll hit it by mere chance, but is that was you want your prospecting to do?

    Familiarize yourself with the US laws and regulations, and then the process the US market specifically goes through in this situation. See what and why it's different than the EU market. Then adjust accordingly. Do research.

    I agree with JKirby. Do not hire until you know how the market works. In Mexico you could hire medical "Visitor" who usually visits doctors promoting products from different laboratories, or just one if he represents only that one. You can also try to introduce your products through a Joint venture with an stablished US firm that is already selling to your target. This may be the fastest route.

        Anywhere you recommend I look for a JV with an established vendor? I have been looking online everywhere I could and found nothing.. any help is appreciated
