Help me close the sale

Okay so I have a client that has had a website built on my servers and is looking for leads for selling his business ... He had N outsource company design this website for him ... I am putting a few recommendations together based on another company we have help sell help mw constructively critique this website without putting original creator down too much ... website is www.companyforsale.co.za

Feels like cheating that I get to look at the previous guys work but the customer is not happy so I guess that's the business ...

    I'm really not sure what you are asking, but the " website" is a landing page and not very good at all, you can do better by using many software offered here!! Get rid of the footer links!

    Alright so here goes my opinion.

    First of all the landing page is not very good.

    If you need a good conversion rate, then i suggest using a software like leadpages or megaphone. Both Rock.

    Moreover I see a lot of features on your landing page, than benefits.

    For Ex - "Industry leader for almost 40 years" :- What's in it for them? Why should they opt-in? Why should they know more?.

    Too many features and very low benefits.

    Your landing page must always focus on what's in it for your target prospect.

    Thanks guys, like I said the customer wants a landing page and this is what the previous designer did for them with little effect ... I am putting together a proposal and have ideas of my own but thought I would bet a view from some of you in the know ... thank you again
