I'm selling one of my websites: JDJungle.com

I bought this domain from an expired domain list in February 2008.
It was parked until March 2009 when I decided to move from domain parking to development.

In the one year that it was parked, it earned over $200.

Here are the screenshots from the parking accounts:

It made $171 at Namedrive, $35 at Parked in one year.

When I got this domain, it had a valid PR5, and in almost two years, it hasn't lost the PR. The domain belonged to an influential law magazine (just do a google search for "JD Jungle").

The domain has some AMAZING backlinks, including a lot of genuine .edu backlinks (not built by me) and more than a few Wikipedia references, since, as I said, it was an influential law magazine distributed across the US.

All the backlinks, along with the PR have stayed, and I don't think they will be going any time soon.


Now I'll be upfront here. I used this domain to cut my teeth in web development. I had zero idea how websites were made when I started developing this in March 09. As you might believe, there were a lot of mistakes, a lot of experiments. I loaded it up with Wordpress plugins to see how they worked, changed from blog-style to page style to blog style again, changed layouts to see how themes worked.

In terms of traffic and revenue, the former has stayed solid and increased with time, while the latter has really not performed as expected.

Please note in the traffic screenshot that whenever there has been a sudden dip in the traffic, it is because I've either changed the theme and forgotten to add the Analytics tracking code to it, or have changed the nameservers to a parking account. You are welcome to take a look at the Analytics as a guest user. Traffic count generally varies from 15-45 visitors a day. A majority of the users come through search engines, while others come through type-ins or referring sites.

The Adsense hasn't really performed for me as the CTR I get is horrible - just around 0.5%. This, of course, is nothing spectacular, and with my relative inexperience with monetization, I haven't been able to push it further.

In terms of content, there are a little over 20 pages of content on the site.
All articles are 100% unique, handwritten.

Nowadays, I've been using the site primarily for backlinks. I'm too lazy to bother with optimizing it, or adding more SEO friendly content to it or build backlinks.
