Now for sale: Apparent.com Would you like a chance to own a rare & premium 1-word, dictionary .com domain name? Well, now is your opportunity... There are 108,000,000 results in Google for the word "Apparent", and you would quite literally own that word on the Internet. This domain would make an excellent company brand name, and/or a great product name as well - be it a web service, or other type of product. If you are looking to establish a prestigious presence online, and make a "splash" with a strong brand, this is the domain name for you. One word, dictionary .com domain names are the "oceanfront real estate" of the Internet. They routinely sell for $xxx, xxx.xx and above ... see Dnjournal.com for proof here: DNJournal.com Year to Date Domain Sales Charts Here are the top 20 sales for 2009 from the link above: Toys.com - $5,100,000 Candy.com - $3,000,000 Fly.com - $1,760,000 Auction.com - $1,700,000 Ticket.com - $1,525,000 Russia.com - $1,500,000 Call.com - $1,100,000 Webcam.com - $1,020,000 Server.com - $770,000 Luck.com - $675,000 Exterminator.com - $600,000 Christian.com - $600,000 Brazil.com - $500,000 Talk.com - $500,000 Top.com - $464,750 Rio.com - $450,000 AreaRugs.com - $405,000 Resumes.com - $400,000 Body.com - $400,000 Forums.com - $399,990 Its not necessary to think that Apparent.com is as strong as these 20, sold in 2009 for mid to upper $xxx, xxx.xx into the $1m+ range. However, you may notice that they are all Dictionary, 1 word .com domain names, as is Apparent.com, which could perhaps be considered by some to be in this league. The reason why I think this may be an excellent opportunity for you is because I must sell this name now. Therefore, this is a "no reserve" auction. Whoever wins this domain gets it for whatever the final bid ends up at... which could definitely end up being a "steal". Transaction details: I am covering all fees - including Escrow.com fees and the $498 Flippa.com Success fee, so you won't have to worry about that. I encourage you to make your best bid now and compete with whoever else might think this is a great opportunity. The domain will be sold securely through Escrow.com and buyer agrees to submit payment no later than 3 days after the end of the auction. According to GoDaddy, and this can be confirmed by calling them at 480-505-8877, this domain can be transferred and sold, but you'll have to wait until 4/21 to update some of the contact details for the name. They have a 60 day policy for some changes, and I updated it on the 20th of February, before I finally decided I must sell. I am certain that someone is going to get an excellent Internet Property here, and I hope that it is you. Thanks and good luck! P.S. I encourage you to place your best bid now, as again this is a "no reserve" auction. Winner takes it. Perhaps a nice opportunity for those who have held out for a Rare, High-Quality, Premium 1-word .com domain. Great word.... what were you planning to develop or use it for? A big part of the valuation is end user intended use. Books.com can sell books etc. Good luck with the sale! |
