Dress Up Down (dressupdown.com) is an online retailer selling adult toys, lingerie, and novelty gifts. This site has been extremely easy to run - low overhead and great supplier, not to mention profitable and growing by the day.


Benefits of owning this site:

1) web design was professionally done by a web designer/developer, and not from a template. I wanted the site to have a clean simple look vs. my competitors who have very cluttered sites. I still use him to make occasional changes on the site when needed. You may choose to use him or use your own. Ecommerce platform is Zen Cart and it is easy to navigate around, so if even if you're not tech savvy, you will not have a problem.

3) This site uses the dropship model, which means NO inventory! This site basically runs itself. I spend about 10-15 minutes a day just entering orders to my supplier and following up on old orders.

3) I use a dropship management program (which I will reveal to you once purchase is complete) that makes this website self-automated. They update my product listing each time my supplier introduces new products or changes their pricing. My store currently has over 13,000 products, so having to manage the pricing and inventory count on a daily basis would be extremely tedious which is why I use this. This costs $49.95 a month, which includes hosting my website as well.

3) Total expense per month: $49.95 + credit card processing fees.

4) I've had this site for about 2.5 months and so far have made close to $4,000 in revenue, so you can imagine how much potential this site has. Net profit is about 40-50%, however this is really up to you. My suppliers prices are extremely low so you can play around with the margin.

5) Traffic: this past month I have been working on different avenues to market and reached about 30,000 in visitors. If you work more on the SEO (which I haven't done much of), there is no doubt that this site can reach 50,000- 100,000+ visitors a month organically, beating out my competitors.

6) All social media pages are updated almost daily, and they will be turned over to you (Facebook, Twitter, Wordpress).

7) Merchant account and payment processors are all set up and details will be provided upon completion of sale. Website currently accepts visa, mastercard and paypal. There are other options you may activate, but those are the only ones I wanted.

8) I only use one supplier (located in the US) and they are very competent in what they do. They reply to questions the same day, invoicing never has mistakes, and they always ship the products the same day the order is placed.

Why am I selling this website?

I have another business venture in the works and frankly I need the capital. I have spent a lot of time on this project trying to perfect out all the kinks and I can finally say it is at a point where it can run smoothly without much work needed (pretty much self-automated). You should also list your PPC expenses as any profit will be net total expenses. KeywordSpy shows 73 PPC keywords for the domain.

I've spent approximately $134.56 on Google Adwords so far, and I also had an extra $150 credit from a promotional code from Google.
