These success factors are largely based on Google and how their search engine works. Google's aim is to provide its users with the most relevant and high quality results for their given search term, which makes complete sense.

Internal SEO lets Google know what your website or page is about, so it is very important that this is done correctly. As well as this the content on your website must not only be optimized for certain keywords, but it must also offer real value to visitors.
