Google Webmaster Tools - 300% more impressions unchanged clicks?!?

Hey guys,

This is my first post here and I just made an account to an address an issue I woke up to today to see this

My GWT impressions have increased by something like 300% (almost 60, 000 impressions), but my clicks only increased from around 3200 to 3600 (400 increase)... historically I've had a very high CTR on google rankings, does anyone have an explanation to why this could have happened? Should I be worried? I really don't want my rankings to drop because of this...

Also, I don't want to be pointing fingers, but I know about a competitor trying to knock me off in whatever way he can, do you think he could be behind this?

    I think your newly added pages having brad match keywords so you are getting more impressions not clicks . Check your site keyword ranking positions in google ...

    I would infer you are targeting broad keywords, so when people actually see your add it really has no relevance to them or you are targeting who are not in the buying mode, so therefore they could care less about what you are marketing.

    So... the question is are you keywords to broad or are you targeting new markets that don't want to buy?
