Hey guys. I am new to this industry, and I decided to try affiliate marketing with Clickbank. Anyways I came here to ask about how, if any of you have done with FB ads promoting CB products. I started a couple days ago and since then I have been able to get over 500 likes on the post/ad, and 400 something clicks. Only 18 clicks to website though, can anyone tell me the difference between these two (Clicks and Clicks to Website)? After all this engagement I received, I've made not one sale. So, I was wondering what you think would make me be able to close more sales. I thought to myself, I missed out because in the beginning of setting up this campaign I decided not to send people to a landing page/ opt-in. I decided this was a bad choice because I missed out on a potential 500 leads, but I digress. I also talked to an experienced, successful Internet Marketer and he said pretty much the same thing, because alot of value is in email marketing and being able to get repeat customers. I just wanted to ask what you think I should write in my ad or picture in it, that may help me started with sales. I've attached a pic of my FB ad performance too.

  • Clicks are likes/comments/shares, and website clicks
are... well, clicks going to the website.

You haven't made a sale yet because only 18 went to the
    website. That's not enough.

Have an opt-in or a lander where you can
    pre-qualify, pre-educate and pre-sell the
    offer.

If you want to do opt-ins, here's what I recommend
    you do.

With the opt-in you can either pre-sell the opt-in,
so they can join the list and after they hit the button
to subscribe you redirect them to the affiliate
offer with your aff link, and then just keep
sending valuable emails to monetize the list...

... Or instead of redirecting them to the offer,
have a ''sandwich page'' with a headline,
a couple of bullets, an image with the play
thumbnail and a call to action button.

For your opt-in, you can have something like
''Free video reveals how to yay without boo'' or
''Free video reveals how to XYZ''

Start with clicks to website and place the FB conversion
pixel on the thank you page. Split test your ads, and get that
pixel fired up with conversions, let it run for 24 hours and
    optimize the ad.

Opmitize by creating a website conversions ad after
getting some conversions -- like 20 or so -- with
the best audiences and ad creative from your split
    tests.

Both ads go to your opt-in page, but now FB will
do all the hard work and find you a nice audience
    because the pixel is seasoned.

FYI both ads use the oCPM bidding.

After you get 100 conversions, you can create a lookalike
website audience from your pixel conversion and do another
campaign for them using website conversions.

There's more stuff involved though, like properly
creating your campaigns/ad sets/ads, setting up
your audiences, crafting a proper ad creative, the copy
of your lander, the copy of the follow-up sequence.

Can't help you with the ad creative, all I can say is
read FB guidelines and don't make any claims that
involve money, proven or quick results.

I have a FB report going a little bit more in detail
on this, if you want you can read it here. Please note that
the FB campaign structure changed, but the
idea is the same... One campaign, your ad sets
with the targeting including ages/genders, and two or
three ads inside each ad set to split test.

Clicks include all the activity like share, comment, like and clicks to websites means the actual visitors who visited your website through your Facebook Ad.
