Which are the best PPC advertising networks for starting with a small budget. It seems the bigest networks are also teh most expensive. Any suggestions?

Usually you get what you pay for. Facebook yet is a good option to start.

      Correction.
You get what you pay for.
But you get MORE if you know what to pay for.

Nevertheless, Bing is another cheap 1st tier advertising platform you should consider too.

  • It doesn't matter which network you advertise on. As long as you target your prospects properly. This means on search engines use relevant and precise keywords and on ad networks targeting sites where your prospects are likely to be. That means if you sell products for motorcycle users, you don't advertise on sites catering to boaters. If the network has sites about your niche and want to target them, use that network.

Big networks are as a rule more expensive because they are big. More advertisers generally push up the costs as they compete. But the bottom line is ROI, not CPC.

I highly recommend Facebook Advertising, it is highly targeted and easy to use. Just be sure to always comply with the rules or your advertising account be banned forever.

I am getting 9 cents a click for a keyword on BING, that brings in 388% ROI

let me tell you that i busted my nuts off testing to get to that, maybe $400 USD but now that brings in money like clockwork, no matter were I am at, the beach, the shops, surfing or where ever.

You have to work your ass at, and be half decent with COPY, but I have made tons of money studying what my competitions is doing and making it better.

GO FOR BING!, right now BING is like adwords was, back in the day of penny clicks. Ride the wave, before its over.

I prefer bing and facebook PPC with proper targeting.

Like solarwarrior said, If you know what you pay for you'd get most out of your advertising cost. As a new user you can get benefit of coupon.

Everybody saying fb.. but from my experience, fb is a hard game, and not cheap at all (if you target big countries)
I managed to below 1 cent clicks, but the countries were worthless.
Not to mention you should invest lots of money on testing before you manage to get a ROI.
If you want to sell something, Adwords is your friend.
