Try an add campaign on Bing Ads, it is a lot less than Google and gets results. It usually takes a few campaigns to get it right. Just keep an eye on how many impressions to clicks you are getting and adjust accordingly.

Try Google Adwords for Your E commerce based website. First sort out your potential products which can be sold out through PPC, You can also perform competitors analysis in this regards to figure out top selling products in your niche. After identifying potential products, make innovative and attractive landing pages according to your product requirement. You can setup Search campaigns to target category specific phrases to send to your category pages, and more specific product phrases to send traffic to specific product pages.

You can also setup a product data feed and setup a Shopping Channel campaign. From my experience, shopping channel campaigns achieve lowest cost per conversion, but also gets less volume than Search.

Google Shopping is great because you'll gain huge exposure for your products at very competitive PPC rates.

I'm also a fan of Amazon Product Ads because it lets you present your products to Amazon shoppers while maintaining control of the purchase process, which allows you to merchandise related products and control the brand experience of your store. APA, from our research, gets the highest conversion rates of any PLA program.

Finally, don't forget about Bing. Bing's exclusive search partnerships with Apple Siri and Amazon Kindle make it a great mobile commerce.

Ecommerce marketing is kind of our thing ;-) so please DM me if you have any questions. I'd be happy to help.

Go as granular as possible with AdWords and Bing Ads. Don't advertise for "sneakers" for example - bid on keywords specific to the actual products you're selling and direct link to those pages. Bid on, for example, "nike huarache triple black" and directly link to that style sneaker.

Bidding on broader keywords can work, but conversion rates will be lower and cost per conversion likely higher.

Remember to use Google Product Listing Ads - they're great. Just make sure your price is competitive, because when six identical products come up on Google PLAs, the thing that makes a user click one ad over another is usually the price displayed.

Don't forget about shopping channels like Shopping.com, Amazon Product Ads. And remember to retarget your users with a platform like AdRoll. If you can get dynamic ads, even better!

I do the above and turnover seven figures on an annual basis with ease. Any free, organic traffic that my sites receive is a bonus.

Someone mentioned it above, but the keyword research step is the most important.

I am a Google Adwords Consultant / Partner --- I would be interested in either managing a PPC project for you or providing keyword research services. Please PM me if you are interested.
