Is it achievable to run ppc campaigns directly to an affiliate offer and get a liveable return?
For example I find a offer that is converting then spend $300 to test and refine the campaign then spend $700 advertising the offer with the ppc networks is it likely that I would get a 200% $1400 return on the investment? Providing the testing is adequate, Reinvest $700 and keep $700.
Is anyone doing this with on going success?
I would like to have a run at it but would like to know its not a pipe dream first, I see so many clams of success online but have never heard it from the horse's mouth.

Hi there, Buster. I have been working with PPC ads for about 5 months and I can say that your success depends on a lot of factors and it just simply isn't as easy as investing 700$ and getting back 1400$ then reinvesting and keep going. The market is constantly changing and if you want to earn a living you need to find good lasting products or keep adding to your campaigns. I had a campaign earlier this year that generated almost 5k profit with only 500$ invested, however as most things it was just a temporary market that cooled down after the product launch was over. At this point I am still testing out new campaigns and trying to see what works in the hopes of finding something that will be more profitable in the long run.

So yes you can have success and you can make a living out of it as long as your campaign, ad copy and promoted product are very good and have a good ongoing demand on the market. Feel free to test and see what works for you, for how long it works and how can you keep it going and you should get there ... eventually!

Does Google, Bing and Yahoo allow direct linking to an affiliate offer?

Yes, this is how the process gets started!
You need to do some tests promoting several offers setting low budget per day.
Keep variations of ads for one single product, kill those not converting well and keep the one that converts; split test, and repeat.

PPC is all about TESTING. you can't just invest $700 and expect to make it double. Following factors play a crucial role in your success:

    Testing the campaigns
    Tweeking the campaigns
    Tracking for optimum results.

If you don't know what you are doing, then you can loose big amt. pretty quickly.

Bing & Yahoo generally allow linking directly to affiliate offers. Google - no way - normally.

if you have a good tracking system in place, ,with BING you can KILL IT.

but I have found over 80% of people on PPC never track. HOLY HELL!, What a waist of money that would be. :-)

Its hard to make money as an affiliate with PPC. The only one I have made profits with is a high paying financial offer and a Pay Per Call network.

The best money for me has been working one on one with local business owners who need more customers/leads. I started out phone leads on a pay per call basis (and still do) but found that after a couple of weeks (after developing trust) I could offer "upgrades" where the business owner would pay me a large lump sum to set up a PPC campaign for them. Then either monthly to manage or I will coach them to do it themselves, which I prefer.

I have developed a html mobile/responsive landing page system that gets good quality scores as long as I am bidding on highly relevant keywords and don't get keyword greedy. I can even do dynamic text replacement on the site themselves but normally don't. I like slow and easy with each new campaign.
