Can I view the search terms for Imnpressions only in AdWords?

Hey All

As per the lengthy title, I am getting impressions on my new campaign, which I've deliberately made over cautious, so I have no clicks yet, but I'd like to know if I can see the search terms used which caused the impressions. Is this possible?

    Click your campaign, then choose the 'keywords' tab. This will show you the keywords with the associated impressions for each keyword. You can also see this in your ad groups. What you may also find useful is something called Impression Share. This is the number of impressions you've received divided by the estimated number of impressions you were eligible to receive. Eligibility is based on your current ads' targeting settings, approval statuses, bids, and Quality Scores. Data is available at the campaign, ad group, product group (for Shopping campaigns), and keyword levels.

    Looking at my campaign this way, I think this is showing me the keywords in my campaign but not the search terms used which triggered an impression. I know that once I get some clicks I can see the search term that was used for each click, I'm wondering if I am able to see the search term that was used just to trigger the impression?

    From the page you have described, if I choose 'Details' > 'Search Terms' > ALL then I am only offered the search terms for any clicks (and then I have to wait 24 hours), rather than impressions

    The search term report appears to be one of the last to be updated with data. One day's worth of data is usually not very informative but yes, it won't show until the day is over and I think it may not until the day after.

    It also won't show every single search term that was used. That would be useless. So it does show high volume terms, lower volume terms for which there was a click and lumping the rest into "other search terms". This so not to overwhelm you with low value information and likely for data storage and bandwidth issues.
