Hi,

I'm new to PPC and I'm wondering, how to choose the bid for each keyword?
I've started with Bing and chose only the cheaper keywords (below 0.20$)
and I didn't change the bid they gave automatically.

My second question is how do Bing choose the bid they give, and how it effects me if I choose the chepaer keywords?
It is better to stay with their bids, or it is better to change it?

The bid get lower if my ad is more relevancy with more relevant keywords?

Thanks in advance.

    1. You can use their suggested bid and then test it with higher and lower bid to see which one brings you most clicks.

    2. They choose it by the amount of competition there is for that specific kw. Cheaper keywords usually have less amount of traffic.

Important thing on Bing is quality score. Read about it so you can figure it out.

Start low and work your way up the bid price.. Use the suggestions to get a general idea of the prices. Keep an eye on the traffic you get for each bid change you make. Feel it out in other words.

I usually start with a higher bid to make sure the traffic is as high quality as possible. This way I'll quickly see whether the campaign has any potential.

After optimizing and testing my campaign several times I adjust the bids (lower them) to try to turn a profit.

I'm in the sports gambling niche and I'm paying about .30 per click. I need to minimize that number to turn a profit, but before when my bid was less I could barely get any clicks. What is the alternative? Find more keywords?
