Hi everyone,

I am from Turkey. I used to earn $7000 in 4 month with Adwords and Clickbank.

Then now, i start again. I have a lot of questions.

First of all, i spent $90($40 on adwords, $50Bing) but i did not get any sells. I picked up 40-90 Gravity product.

I am exhausted with Adwords! I need to hear all your advice. My budget is shrink right now. Please help me. Even adwords did not give me coupon. Adwords have promotion my country but did not give it to me.

Finally Do i run for adwords or give up. İf yes, how can i choose my products, keywords etc.

Ps: My english is not enough for article marketing or review sites marketing.

You must keep testing as the $100 investment can't provide sufficient metrics to gauge data.

    Hey Hakan,

Did something change in your scheme? I mean the offers, conversion rates, CPCs etc. If so, maybe there's a sense to turn to good old strategies and scale up the best cases. If everything is the same, maybe you should try few other offers, as the old ones have reached "the point of satiation".

And yes, $40 and $50 are pretty low budgets for optimizing, though if the spendings reach 5 CPLs with no results - there's no sense to continue with the advertising channel.

    My advice is leave AdWords.

Unless you can put "Fortune 500" in front of your business name, AdWords have become unreasonably expensive and oversaturated, which leaves everything not in your favor.

"In 2004 all my clicks were below 20 cents and now those same clicks will be over $1.50 and beyond."

You can't win anymore with AdWords. Google got greedy, and now you're feeling the hurt from that.

      Hi Chris,

I believe you have that backwards, Google didn't get greedy, but your competitors did.

Google doesn't set the bid prices, instead, ad positions are sold to the highest bidders in real-time auctions. That is how AdWords works. Your competitors must be making plenty of money, else they would have gone away.

AdWords is very competitive, however you do not need to be a Fortune 500 company to be competitive. You do not even need to be good at managing AdWords, you just need to hire someone that is great at AdWords campaign management, or learn to be great at it yourself.

You see, it has everything to do with your individual abilities as an account manager, and nothing to do with how big the corporation is that hired the account manager.

Of course there are other factors, like the quality and value of your offer, the efficiency and satisfaction levels you achieve in the fulfillment of your offer, those certainly matter as well, and likewise. do not require a fortune 500 company to provide.

A small company has certain inherent advantages over larger companies, you need to identify and incorporate those strengths into you overall strategy, and use the larger companies weakness to your advantage.
