Bloody Nora this is frustrating. I'm adding keywords in Bing and the first page estimate for exact, phrase and broad match is £0.08, but when I go and check to see if my ad is displaying for the keyword using their ad diagnostics tool I get a message saying "low ad rank". So I increase my bid from £0.08 to £1.50 and still my ad won't show on the first page.

My landing page and ad text are highly relevant and the content matches the ad perfectly so there is no problem there.

So why does Bing tell me the estimated first page bid is £0.08 when my ad won't appear for the keyword phrase even if I set the CPC bid to £1.50?

    It takes time to show.

Dont Focus Too Much On The Bing Suggested Bid, Its Not The Key Factor To Making A Successful Bing Campaign,

Your Focus Should Be On Building A Big List Of Keywords And Some Good Ad Copy That Brings In The Right Audience

I've always had success for myself and clients by bidding high, then adjusting bid after 1st day or two of running. One thing that happens is you see what it actually costs to be where and then can go from there.

Plus, that bing estimate will not be at all accurate when 1st start because basically nothing to compare to yet and really not always accurate when even running your campaign for a while.

In my opinion, i found the estimates to be way more accurate when was one, now since merged with yahoo quality and other things have really dropped. Bing still can be profitable, but your words that are cheap like 5 cents, 15 cents etc... will most likely be tons of poor quality vs how it used to be.

Bing can still be very profitable, but like said, the old days of bing are gone as of now.

The real key is to get your traffic system down (targeted and qualified) so you can afford to pay more than your competition (you don;t need to pay more than them but if wanted to could) to generate better quality customers and then have a backend that makes it all extremely profitable.
