Having problems with Target Audience

In my opinion it should be young people between 15-25 years who are interested in technology. When talking about the region I think this could sell both - in US and Europe, so I would suggest using .com domain and english language in it.
You need to realise that older people will not have so much time to use it or most of them will rather choose cars (oooor you could target big cities where traffic is difficult and people mostly use bikes).

That is not the image I was expecting to see from that description.

If you are talking about PPC and a target audience, keywords etc I'd say you've got to get that description right in your own mind first before looking at the audience.

What keywords are you targeting?

5% CTR is not that bad if you are just broad targeting and if you haven't got a specific audience in mind and specific keywords in mind.

I've seen these around and they have usually been where a Dad has a pair on and a 9-12 year old kid has a pair on.

They seem like a nerdy thing for kids who can't skate.

So maybe PPC on Youtube on things that kids 8-12 watch and perhaps something that targets Dads that think their kids might find them cool...you know the type.

What price point do they sell at and can you buy them on Amazon?

If they can be bought on Amazon what keywords describe them and what other related products are purchased with or what are they suggested as an add-on sale with.

Find out those things and then you can target better.

Actually pretty easy...

Simply look at your competiton selling those, can even head over to alexa for free, throw in domain and you'll see some info on site but what you want is top keywords for traffic coming in to site. They give you top 5 now for free. There's plenty of sites you can get info...then...

Use those as keywords and if using google and simply putting in 2 wheeled scooter and and variatons like adding electric to the keyword, plenty of traffic and competition. If using facebook...

Simply use info of competitors to break down demographics and target interests, so you can hit facebook profitably.

If you use Google Adwords you want to make sure you use very specific (not broad) keywords and also use keyword exclusions if there are keywords people may be searching on but that you don't want clicking on your ad. Adwords provides the best tools for the most targeted audience in my opinion if you have a healthy budget for it.
