Hey Pros,

I'm looking for analytics platform to understand a source of a free-trial sign-up. It must be sophisticated to offer source / campaign data beyond 'last click' and can follow specific individuals (not just aggregated data like in Universal Analytics).

Who companies can offer this? (And ideally be affordable).

  It is possible to send a User ID to Google Analytics and track individual users across your website, including cross-channel tracking.
  
  Here's a link the explains how to track individual users on Google Analytics:

  You just need to make sure that you do not send data to Google that allows Google to personally identify those users.
  
  If you want to try different analytic software that you can install and run on your own servers I recommend Piwik, it open source and offers many of the same features as Google Analytics, and has built-in user tracking.
