Banned from Facebook ads:( Any chance of getting un-banned?

This is a bit frustrating. I was loving Facebook ads. I was just getting the hang of them before my account got flagged for some strange reason.

Now when I go to the ads manager it says "Your ad account has been flagged for policy violations. Any ads you're running have been turned off. If you believe this is a mistake, please contact us."

I filled out the form and got an email back saying "We will be unable to reactivate either. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please consider this decision final."

Is there anything I can do?

I feel this is a bit harsh for a newbie's mistake. I never got any sort of warning or anything. I remember checking the day before I got banned and saw I had ZERO complaints against my ads.

Here is the landing page I used BTW:

You got banned because you are advertising an ad and making money. FB is not a big fan of affiliate marketing. Most accounts that start affiliate marketing get banned. This is because of people spamming the hell out of FB so the accounts department watches it closely. Also if youve been banned thats it. No way of reactivating.

    tough luck,

Most people that advertise are experienced marketers, and regardless FB does a sweep once every few months and almost all affiliate accounts are banned

The only problem is that I'm not doing affiliate marketing or selling a product. I am getting people on my email list through a squeeze page I created.

I wen through the same thing, you more than likely got banned so they can check out who you are and make sure you're not using somebody's information. You can't put an affiliate link or any other link in your ad or it will not get published and they will let you know that on the spot.

You have to upload a copy of your state ID to your page and they have a drop down window where you have to check off and answer questions as far proving it's your account. Once you do that you will have to STAY ON THEM about your ads account not being activated.

Truthfully I went as far as to tell them I was going to inform the feds and their shareholders about them committing fraud by taking money out of my checking account when their risk manager claimed they couldn't re activate my ads account because it suspected of fraudulent activity. I also said their risk management team wasn't following their job rules by re activating my ads account after I uploaded pics of my ID, Credit Card, and a screen shot of them taking money out of my checking account for ads ect. ect. and it finally worked Not saying the reason was my threats but it did get my account back.

After you do get your ads account back I just wanted to share some tips that I learned too. Facebook ads is a very good way to get to get good traffic and very cheap if you know what you’re doing. Here is how I have been able to get .0003 cent and less per ad view. First at the top of your Facebook page where you log out at click on that drop down menu next to the lock on the top of the page and go to create an ad. Do not create an ad from the post on your page go to your ad manager.

From there choose boost your post with Page Post Engagement. When you go to do your ad choose these 5 locations, United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. What ever your niche is pick out the interests and make sure you keep it at 5 million reach as that’s the sweet spot as I like to call it to get the .0003 cent per view it might start off in double digits like 25 cent or 15 cent but it will wind down the longer the ad stays up, don’t set the ad payment higher than $5, that’s all you need is $5 you can drop it to a dollar if you want and it will still work.

You can go as high as 10 million in audience reach but try to stick to 5 million. Test it and at different numbers if you like but 5 million seems to work best for me. I also have a way to pause the ad and insert a link in the ad so you can monetize it once it gets to a certain amount of views, I usually monetize the ad at a million views but you can do it when ever you want to.

The reason I suggest waiting for at least a million views is because people tend to click a link in a Facebook ad when it has a lot of views. It mostly makes people think the link is important or has very good content worth clicking once it has a lot of views before you decide to put your link in it. I do hope this information helps with Facebook traffic.

Very useful! Thanks for that. I ended up creating a new facebook account with a different credit card. I'm going to wait and see if Facebook detects it's me again.

For your ads, do you set the bid amount to automatic or do you set your own fixed price?

Hey everyone! I just got an email saying I was unbanned. I'm not quite sure what I did. I sent about 3-4 different appeals over 2 weeks and it seems to have worked.

    Phew...
