Adwords Keyword Selection: For adult products?

What is your keyword selection method?

I am going to launch my first paid campaign with Google Adwords promoting an adult product. Little scared...

I am seeing a WikiHow post ranking (with pictures) in google for my primary keyword. Should I still take this particular Keyword?

    I have no advice to offer you, other than read a lot on this subject before spending money on PPC. It's incredibly easy to lose all your money without making any sale.

    The book I see often recommended by people whose advice I trust is AdWords for Dummies, which although out of date, still offers a lot of great information on the psychology behind AdWords, and PPC in general.

    I've asked the author of the aforementioned book, Howard Jacobson, which other authors should I listen to, and his advice is:

    I think Perry is brilliant. You won't regret getting his books.

    Glenn Livingston and Brad Geddes are also extremely sharp and knowledgeable. Mike Rhodes in Australia is a wizard. And all three are dripping with integrity.

    Joel McDonald, my co-author on the third edition, doesn't have a book, but he puts out videos sometimes and occasionally teaches classes. I've learned a ton from him. Joel McDonald — Best Selling Author, National Speaker and AdWords Trainer/Consultant

    I don't know of other books that are much more recent than mine. You'd probably be better off finding a video course on Udemy if you want the latest latest.
