Adwords keeps suspending me. Where else can I place ads?

Hi Warriors,

I have a visa business, where we help the people to obtain visas for different destinations across the world. For some reason, adwords keep suspending over and over the ads for 1 specific type of visa, and it looks like we can't do anything to fix it.

We tried with agencies, we tried with different names, we followed the policies strictly... but they just keep suspending us.

This wouldn't be a problem if Adwords wouldn't the best and only source of sells we have. Do you have any recommendation, or, is there anywhere else were I could eventually advertise? I thought about facebook, but this is a very specific product that is required by people when they are about to travel... Any ideas?

Thanks!
Chris

Ex: I was spending around 800 usd a day on ads.

Obviously, other popular search engines. For example, Bing, if your target audience is US/Canada

Bright Future, thanks a lot for your feedback, but I had the same issue with Bing for some reason, if you do visas for rusia, china, argentina, or dubai or saudi arabia you can run the campaign without any problem, but when you try with united states, things get different

  • Google and Bing have pretty much the same rules so I'm not surprised. Obviously, there is something about your type of business which they prohibit or your landing page or ads are violating some other rules. Just top of my head, would this not fall into the "product or service is freely available" rule?

I wonder if they are suspending your Ads only or the whole account. If they are suspending your account, it is much more serious because all future accounts will be suspended. However, it is still possible to get a new account provided that you cloak well, but obviously you cannot run those ads again.

@LucidWebMarketing @derekwong28 they actually suspend the whole account without any previous advice. They report "untrustworthy promotions" as suspension cause. But the weird part is that it only happens with 1 specific type of visa...

I suspect that your accounts were suspended because they appear to be related to your original account. It could be that the pattern of ads resembled those of the original account or that you were not able to hide yourself thoroughly. I would take a look at the Adwords forum in Blackhatworld. There are people there who have experience in creating new accounts. You can also buy new accounts or pre-aged accounts there. You can also route your payment to Google via a third party. You have to be careful though because there are scammers around.

We had the same issue with AdWords since April 2015 when they suddenly decided that their system cannot be used to promote free software products. Totally random decision, but what to do? We migrated to Bing which has been good, but obviously their system is not integrated so well with Analytics and the volume is a lot less.

Bing would be good as it is very similar to adwords, not too mention they have much less. rules. Can't think of why you would be having problems with United States visas only but.

Alternatively you can never go past Facebook. The customer targeting you can get on that platform is out of this world. Facebook basically knows everything about you, alot of people don't like that but for us marketers it's a dream .
