Exactly How You Can Make $100.00 a day on Bing PPC

Bing marketing is one of the best untapped platforms in the world where you could post campaigns
without the fear of getting banned. It is much like Adwords during its infancy.

Over the course of a few months, I have seen students making more money
with Bing more than they could imagine.
(You can find such success stories in this thread)

With OVER 5 years experience of managing campaigns and coaching, here are some
tips I decided to reveal for the benefit of those who are struggling to break the first
buck with their campaigns or wish to pursue a path where you don't have to trade in
5 days of work just to get 2 days of rest...(It still doesn't make sense to me today)

Would it be easier to sell water to a someone in a desert or ice to an Eskimo?
Many newbies make the mistake of interpreting popularity or passion with its sales potential.

During the gold rush, there was definitely a huge surge in interest to dig for gold.
However, the popularity of gold digging doesn't mean it is profitable.
First of all, it is costly and time consuming to find that right patch of goldmine.
Secondly, you aren't the only digger in the field.

The group that profits most from the gold rush wasn't the gold diggers, they are
the merchants that sell spades to the gold diggers. When you encounter a popular niche,
always think of ways on how to profit from it without competing with the competition.

For example, the ever popular and competitive MMO niche is a perfect model for illustration.
Instead of bidding for competitive keywords in MMO, is there any tool or complementary
product that the group couldn't do without with which you can bid for a much lower price
than the rest?

The difference between a barely profitable campaign and a ever growing campaign is the
knowledge the marketer possess with his data.

Why does this keyword convert while other don't?

For example, back in the days when I was bidding in the acne niche, I discovered keywords like
"acne forum" or "acne support" doesn't convert as much as "acne product" cause people who are looking
for a specific acne product are more likely to make a purchase compared to someone who are just looking
for support.

I wouldn't know if I don't have such data at my disposal.

Hence, I always manage to outbid others and gain a respectful profit margin cause I know
my audience better than my competitors.

You can track by using inherent Bing tracking tools or Prosper202.
Either of which is free and good enough for starters.

Many people make the mistake of running international and see red in their campaigns.
That is when they rant about "poor" quality of traffic when others like me are smirking in the corner.

This will not only keep you CPC down, but also improve the frequency of the appearance of your ads.
Here is a brief summary what make up the quality score and how you can improve them.

You will see in my advanced targeting option.
I literally focus on female, aged between 25-64 cause I know they have buying power.

On Monday to Friday, I set time when they will be at home from work cause the tendency of them stay fixated to my sales generating landing page with a credit card on hand are slimmer if they are working.

On weekends, I typically set it after 8am when they wake up to 12 midnight. This helps to reduce bot clicks or fraud clicks by your competitors. (Guess they need to be out on a beautiful Sunday too? )

I hope this helps.
If I am free, I will release more powerful tactics that will get people to flash their credit cards to your offer.

Here is an example of a perfect quality score landing page that I have.
#pay per click/search engine marketing (ppc/sem) #bing #guide
  • I would like to reveal some of the insider secrets I have shared with my students on how you can keep competitors away from your castle by building several moats around it. (and why direct linking is costing you more than you think)

    #1. Go for a subscription based product/service
    A subscription based product/service make sure you get paid MULTIPLE times for the initial effort you have put in to get your subscribers.

    That's why insurance companies and universities are willing to pay up to 100 buck (yes 100 buck with 2 zeros behind it) per click for their campaign. (so 2 buck per click doesn't seem that costly after all? )

    That's because once their subscribers get into their funnel, they are billed every month/semester for their packages.

    Conclusion: Increase the value per customer so you have a bigger budget than anyone to outlast and outbid anyone in your turf without hurting your profit margin.

    #2. Know your customer better than anyone else
    Does your customer buy your product/service during the day or night?
    What are the pain points that need to be resolved immediately?
    Is there any existing needs that have not been met yet?

    Create survey forms and do a weekly mailing to probe on their pain points and any improvement that can be make to an existing clickbank product/cpa offer.

    If you can create a better product than your offer, won't it be more sensible(albeit more profitable) to sell it yourself through your own list than helping someone else to sell for a cut?

    Conclusion: Make use of your existing Clickbank and CPA offer only as a leverage to gain more customers and build a bigger list. Without a list, you are back to zero even you are making 1,000 a day. Period.

    #3. Joint Venture On Steroid
    Now you have a list. It's time to do some joint venturing. Try to find similar vendors or webmasters in your niche and do a % rev share if they are willing to promote your product/offer.

    The best way to do that is having a high EPC (easily obtainable if you have a good converting list) and building a good relationship with them before you even start approaching them.

    This is the fastest and most profitable way to grow since you are leverage on their assets to build a BIGGER list. (and a heap of greenbacks too)

    Conclusion: Money do make more money. But in internet marketing, having a list and a good relationship may open more doors than money does. This is the best and fastest way to grow without relying on any advertising platform.

    I hope by the end of this thread, you are convinced having a good lander is the way to go.

    Final conclusion: At the end of the day, you want a reliable and stable business that can feed your family for generations to come.

    Making money is not that hard if you spend 16 hours a day grinding it. (just like how those office rats wearing branded suit at Wall Street..)

    But being able to make money while being able to attend your child's graduation ceremonies, birthday parties and attending to every hour of his/her life with your spouse is a whole new level altogether.

    The power of PPC lies in its reliability and a well-oiled structure that make money work for you instead of you working for the money.

    I hope this post has enlightened some of you in some way. Good luck!

  • Hi solarwarrior,

    May I know which keyword research tool do you use in order to scrape maximum number of keyword results?
    • [ 2 ] Thanks
    • [1] reply
    • The simple and free Bing tool.

      You don't need Maximum number of keyword,
      you only need some keywords that drives good traffic
      and sales volume.

      Understand the distinction and you will be way ahead of the pack.
      • [1] reply
  • It depends on the search volume of the keyword.

    For keyword with lower search volume, I will use phrase or broad.

    For keyword with higher search volume, I will stick to exact.

    If I need to scale up on profitable keywords, I will use phrase or broad too.

    HTH.

  • I have a request for a lander template and decide to do mockup on it.

    This is just meant to be a general guide and I am not responsible
    for any monetary losses or legal repercussions if you follow it.

    Try to play around with words like
    - Enter your email to verify you are a human
    - Enter your email to get exclusive bonus
    - Enter your email to get discount and etc

    This is the best and the farthest I can help.

    Hope it helps.

    • - Does this website must have more pages (some articles, about page) or single page is enough for them?

      - This page draft has hardly any content - is it good enough as a presale page or it is only good as a squeeze page? If no - any chance you can post here a draft for a presale page? If you have a real life example (that will not expose you niches) maybe it is even better.

      - what do you say about "success story" presale style where you tell the user a story like you had the same problem and how you found a solution and the solution is this ebook you are selling. I had a good conversion rate with it in Ex-Back niche but it was so long ago and I don't know if this still works.
      • [1] reply
  • What happens if you are low on budget and can't afford to pay for 1st position?
    You use differentiation to get the most attention to your ad even position is not in your favor.

    To illustrate my point, I will use an example below.

    To be fair, #1 is always the best spot to be cause that is how Bing and similar search engines make more money out of us.

    However, as you have kindly pointed out, this leads to high CPC that may erode your earnings over time.

    One of the ways you can counter that is to target and appeal to different demographics of your audience.

    If you have notice,
    #2 counter their disadvantage by targeting working mum only.
    #3 counter their disadvantage by targeting people who are interested to dabble in stocks.
    #4 counter their disadvantage by targeting lazy people in general.

    I would not try to go for #5 and below cause it will result in reduce visibility of my ads.

    There are also many ways to increase your profit margin, one of which is to negotiate a higher payout from your merchant.

    To answer second part of your question,

    DO NOT MISTAKEN CONVERSION RATE AS CLICK THROUGH RATE.

    Ad position has no bearing at all with your conversion rate.

    It is more important to ensure you get high CTR so you can get higher quality score and greater visibility over time.

    Hope that answered your question.
    • [ 4 ] Thanks
  • Nice Bing ads postings. I like how you talk about the differentiation to get peoples attention when you can't get top. I have still gotten good CTR when not in the top because I tried to stick out compared to other ads
  • Keyword Planner can be found as shown.

    The best keyword are those with commercial intent.
    For example, "buy", "product name", "review" and etc.

    For advanced marketer, we will go a step further and
    add negative keywords to prevent them from showing up.

    For example, you would want to block the word "refund"
    to save on cost on people searching for refunds which
    are not beneficial to your campaign.
  • You said to keep the quality score at least 9-10.

    If some keywords have a quality score below 9, do you recommend pausing those keywords or does it only matter what the overall quality score is?
    • [1] reply
    • If those keywords bring in sales, why should I pause them?

      Keeping the quality score above 9 give you substantial advantage
      in achieving higher profit margin compared to your competitors at
      the ads level.

      They should not be used to determine which keywords should be paused.

      I will only pause keywords if they are not bringing in sales or they
      are too costly to bid on. (example, the cost of bidding > profit)

      However, sometimes I will bid aggressively (sometimes at a loss) to chase
      my competitors away. This will discourage them from starting a bidding war
      with me and allows me to reap more profits by dominating the niche in Bing.

      The only way to sustain a bidding war is to create a profitable funnel which
      deploy a loss leader bidding strategy by bidding more than your competitor outfront,
      in order to upsell a higher pricing item at the backend to recoup the loss you make
      at the front.

  • I always have people who asked, "Which is better? Lander or Direct linking?"

    Both have its pros and cons.

    But if you are bidding in competitive niches,
    or simply can't afford to bid more, then
    you have to work more by building a lander.

    You simply can't have both ways, can you?

    Here is the diagram I manage to draw out to illustrate the beauty of having a lander.

  • If you can't afford a dedicated tracker to track your sales,
    you can put customized Clickbank ID to track individual sales.

    So you can use keyword1, keyword2, keyword3 and so on
    to create multiple links and see which keyword works for you.

    Hope it helps.
    • [ 2 ] Thanks
  • I feel like I gave up too fast on Bing. I was getting clicks for 8-10 cents on average but very few opt-ins and none of them were showing in the dashboard(I'm fairly confident I added the tracking code correctly). I had to track them using PrettyLink. So I was quite far away from sending traffic to a sales page directly.

    Great thread thanks for sharing. Might motivate me and others.
  • Does anybody know anything about Bing native ads. This suddenly appeared on the settings. I wonder if we can opt out of it.

      However, you can minimize the cost from it.

  • Hello Solar

    I have a few questions if I may

    I am not a customer yet though so I will understand if you feel that you have to decline to answer

    I am in the make money niche

    I see a reference to mainline or side ads, do we have a choice which we choose and if so, which is best>

    Devices and Smartphones, should we decrease or increase those or leave them alone?

    I take it when it comes to bids it gives us a number of possible options, but we are best if we can afford it to go for a first position bid

    Best way to increase quality score?

    Best way to increase Ctr?

    Native ads, do they just show up once you actually have a campaign running?
    • [1] reply
    • I make no distinction between them, I will help as long as it don't take too much of my time.

      Here are my answers.
      1. mainline
      2. depends. If your offer has a video, I would decrease them.
      3. having your keywords in your ad and landing page.
      4. stop copying from your competitors and have an ad that stands out.
      5. Yes, they do.
      6. Yes, having too little words does affect your quality score as I have mentioned in point 3.
      7. Get a coder to code them as html instead of using a image for your landing page.
      8. I don't go for 5%. I go for at least 10%.
      9. Stay away from "free", "refund" and other keywords that won't convert.
      However, "free" may work if you are trying to get lead instead of getting a sale.

  • Here is another question I have. My landing page was designed as jpg format which I feel does look more attractive

    I know that it is bad for seo, as the text and keywords are incorporated into the jpg

    Just wondering if the same applies for Bing. Is my quality score likely to be low because I have used a jpg format? (due to little or no text)

    Any solution or workaround, or is it likely I will have to start again?

    When you are looking at Keyword Research at Bing are you looking to have that ctr there above 5% or are you talking about 5% ctr for your own advertising?

    What things do you take into account when researching Keywords using the Bing Keywords tool?
  • [DELETED]
  • Hi SolarWarrior,

    Thanks for some great information. I'm hoping you will entertain a question.

    I have a healthcare clinic that I own and run. For me, my customers have to physically come to my office. There is no e-commerce. What is the best way to set up targeting around my office? I have it set to my physical address with a 30-mile radius, but is that the best way to do things? Should I target specific cities also/instead?

    Any other important considerations for a local business like this?

    Thanks SW!
    • [1] reply
    • That's depends on what you want.

      If you are targeting the locals in your area, you can target either by zip code or radius.

      However, if you are targeting EVERYONE who are searching for your clinic,
      you can target those customers by keywords.
      Example, "San Francisco Clinic"

      This can be narrowed down further by using a combination of both methods.

      Hope it helps.
  • Just an amazing amount of information here. I wanted to ask, are you still able to get bing coupons or not at the moment? I wanted to see if i could start off with some money to test the ads, even though you give so much detail it doesnt look like you ll be losing any money with your tips
    • [1] reply
    • If you have never create a Bing account before, you can request for coupon.

      But coupon won't get you far.

      It is like trading on forex platform on a demo account.

      Only those who dabbles with real money will learn and master the game faster than those risk averse traders.

      Same goes for PPC.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • I have an awful habit of putting the cart before the horse. I make a start at something and then after I mess it up, then I get out the instruction manual.

    Is there anything that is glaringly obvious in the two images below?

    I have 71 keywords but only 7 have produced clicks, would I be better removing the other keywords?

    I have a total of 24 clicks, 1278 impressions and 5.55 average position, I did accept upping bids that they suggested. My thoughts are to up the bids on the keywords that are producing and remove the other ones, but maybe upping bids on non producing keywords is a better idea and then remove if they still do not produce.

    I am thinking the ctr is generally way too low

    I have only had this going a few days so it is early days yet and I understand too early to make any sort of a judgment (not enough data) The quality score is 8 out of 10 on a lot of them

    Thanks in advance for any general times, any and all comments are welcome
    • [1] reply
    • This is a common problem I always faced with my students.

      They always start with more keywords than they can handle.

      Let's look at the following example:

      Ads
      =====================
      Red buttons for sale!
      Buy one and get 50% off!
      =====================

      Your keywords: (generated by Bing or your paid keyword generator)
      =====================
      Buttons
      Red buttons
      Dark Red buttons
      Blue buttons
      Ocean Blue buttons
      hot buttons
      button restaurant
      panic buttons
      =====================

      Out of this list, only 2 keywords is found in the ads.
      =====================
      Buttons
      Red Buttons
      =====================

      So what happen to the rest of the keywords?
      They get low quality score and 0-2 clicks cause they are not relevant to the search queries.

      Before you go, "so should I create one ad for each keyword?"
      No, if you look carefully, we can group our keywords as follows.
      =====================
      General
      ===
      Buttons
      ===

      Red
      ===
      Red buttons
      Dark Red buttons
      ===

      Blue
      ===
      Blue buttons
      Ocean Blue buttons
      ===

      Irrelevant (this group can be paused or deleted from the campaign)
      ===
      hot buttons
      button restaurant
      panic buttons
      ===

      Based on each group, we create a new ad that is relevant to them.

      Grouping the keywords is the 1st step in increasing your quality score.
      But what about CTR?

      Have you seen the following examples before?

      Ad1
      ===============
      Red buttons for sale!
      Buy one and get 75% off!
      ===============

      Ad2
      ===============
      Red buttons for sale!
      Buy one and get 35% off!
      ===============

      Ad3
      ===============
      Red buttons for sale!
      Buy one and get 95% off!
      ===============

      The ads look similar and they are driving each other down the wall using cost leadership.

      When it happens, you need a different strategy to stand out and increase your CTR.

      Here is some ads that will stand out from the crowd.
      ===============
      We have sold over 1000 red buttons.
      100% crafted by hand.
      ===============

      ===============
      Do you need a red button for your big day?
      Order it today and get it delivered in 24 hours!
      ===============

      ===============
      Red buttons for sale!
      Only available in Pennsylvania.
      ===============

      The last ad look similar to the rest, but it is geographically targeted to those living in Pennsylvania.
      It will stand out if someone lives in Pennsylvania and hence boost your CTR compared to the rest.

      Hope this tutorial helps in answering your questions.

  • I can't comment on that cause I am not an attorney.

    Generally it is accepted by Bing but it won't stop others from suing you.
  • @solarwarrior.

    In Bing, I've noticed that some products (i.e. EZ Battery Reconditioning) have ads which advertise a Clickbank product for a low price, such as $27 which is about $20 less than the regular price of the product.

    How are they able to sell the product for that low price? When I go to the affiliate page for the Clickbank product, I don't see any discount offer mentioned.
    • [1] reply
    • I won't bother cause I never compromise profit margin to get advantage over others.

      And even if you manage to get lower price, it won't stop others from doing the same since it doesn't require much to lower your price other than sacrificing your profit to your customers.

      In the end, everyone loses except Bing when affiliates start to engage in pricing war.

      Who wants to work more for less money anyway?
  • great stuff, and I have kept reading this thread.

    PPC, is a great tool, and I feel BING is getting better. But it seems it is not getting the competition like GOOGLE did back in the day, when it went from 2 cents to $gazillion dollars a click.

    I feel the secret with BING is to spend a few hundred to TEST, and find the winning campaigns and keywords. Once you do that, you are on FIRE. UPSCALE, UPSCALE, UPSCALE!
  • Hi Solar,

      2. If the ad and landing page relevancy are bad, most of the quality score will be low.

    -Being specific in your value proposition.
    Example: "We have 20% more selection compared to other retailers."
    instead of merely stating "We have more selection compared to other retailers"

    -Make sure your highly related keywords are organized into their respective ad groups.
    Example: "Labrador food, Labrador meal, Labrador diet" => Labrador Ad Group
    DO NOT mix Labrador, German Shepherd and other kinds of dogs together as it is a sure way for your CTR to suffer.

    - Make sure your average position is between 1 and 2.
    If possible, go for first position by bidding more than others.

    -Make sure your related keywords are grouped together
    -Make sure your ads are relevant to the respective ad groups
    -Use one landing page per product instead of grouping them in one page.

    -Make sure the page loads quickly.

    -Make sure your site is relevant to what you are promoting

  • Hey @solarwarrior

    I spend over $100 without conversions. What should I do now?

    This is my stats:

    361 keywords
    4 Ad Groups (each ad group contain 3 ads)
    133 Clicks
    CTR 2,74%
    Avg.cpc $0.71
    Avg.Position 2.78

    I'm promoting Clickbank product with a presell page (No opt-in included)
    • [2] replies
    • That's a high CPC. What niche is it?

      What match types did you bid on? If your bidding on broad match then your traffic might be not targeted enough towards your intended prospects.

      As you are bidding on 361 keywords, some of them are probably too general and not closely targeted enough to people who would want to buy the product.
    • Your CTR is too low.
      Try to hit at least 10%.
      That will reduce your avg CPC too.

  • Great thread.

    I wonder can this method be use on Adwords too? With a little modification here and there?
    • [1] reply
    • Yes, I was handling clients accounts in Adwords before moving on to Bing since the competition is generally lower and the clicks are cheaper for the same quality of traffic.

      You have to contend with lower amount of traffic though by bidding on more keywords but at least they don't ban you with no reason. (They have a 24/7 live chat support too - that is a plus)

  • When I choose any product on clickbank then promote on bing ads

    Eg choosed learning language product

    How many bid minimum?

    Minimum to maximum bid?

    How many keywords limit?
    1 to 20 or above 20 to 1000?

    How many spent per day
    $10 or $100 per day?

    How many days limit?
    Daily or one day?

    Will I need negative keywords?

    Will I choose broad or exact or phrase? Or all in one?

    How many require quality score?

    If you know then teach me?
    • [1] reply
    • How many bid minimum?
      - It depends on your competitors in your market.
      If they bid 1.0, you have to bid 1.1 to get over them.

      Minimum to maximum bid?
      -Same answer as above.

      How many keywords limit?
      1 to 20 or above 20 to 1000?
      -I usually goes with 20 and start to build up gradually.

      How many spent per day
      $10 or $100 per day?
      -Depends. You can start out with 10.
      I am spending more than 500 a day to keep profitable campaigns running.

      How many days limit?
      Daily or one day?
      -Daily

      Will I need negative keywords?
      -Yes. You do.

      Will I choose broad or exact or phrase? Or all in one?
      -It depends on your traffic volume. If you are a newbie, start with exact.

      How many require quality score?
      -10/10

      If you know then teach me?
      -I don't teach for free cause I am teaching other students too.
      But I will post useful information on this thread when I am free.

    Bing ads have changed their interface now, so when creating an ad it has the option for Short URL or Destination URL. If you use Prosper202, should the URL be put in Short URL or Destination URL?

  • I have seen students who have been misguided in placing thousands of keywords for bidding in Bing.

    This is a classic example where gurus are simply copying others' courses and spin it on their own or recommending a useless course simply for that 75% or 100% commission at your expense.

    Every keyword you choose has to sing in harmony with the ad and landing page you are pairing up with.

    Now, imagine pairing up thousands of keywords with that lone ad.

    Instead of trying to filter the best keywords, you are inadvertently eliminating good keywords that seem to turn bad due to your poor pairing rather than the keyword being inherently bad to your campaign.

    Instead of trying the carpet bombing approach to PPC, a surgical strike approach will be more practical if you have limited time and budget.

    Try it and post an update in this thread if you saw an improvement in your campaign.
    (I will tangle a sweet reward if you do)

    Disclaimer: 5 keywords is the general norm. You can adjust it depending on your niche.
    However, based on my own experience, anything more than 10 would make the ad group ineffective.

    Even though Bing has become more competitive, it is not too late to jump in.

    In the next post, I will reveal how you can find those niches and get it cheaper than your competitors.

  • Hi SolarWarrior,

    Thanks so much for all the information you have provided - very much appreciated.

    Apologies if i've missed this but do you provide lead magnets on your landers? Or do your landers simply 'warm up' your visitors and then direct them to the affiliate site?

    I noticed in one of the templates you provided their was an opt-in for email address so if you don't provide a lead magnet how do you incentivise visitors to do this before providing their details?

    Thank you so much again.

      I will usually provide bonus in the mail to complement their experience.

      For example, if I am promoting migraine product, I would add on a free report to lessen their pain and promote the Clickbank product based on my report.

  • For tracking ppc what can you recommend it except prosper202?
    Prosper202 is not free now(and expensive) moreover it may run well on vps hosting(not on shared hosting) though it may be more profitable by excluding keywords that aren't convert on the way of using prosper202.

    Other wp plugins can be good alternatives for the prosper202 functions?

  • Hey Solar - some great tips thanks for sharing with us, super awesome of you.

    When setting up a Bing campaign, the second step ('Ad groups & keywords) asks you to put in 'Your Webiste'. I put in my Clickmagick tracking link there (with /{keyword}/{adgroup}/{adid} at the end of it - which I assume is right?}.

    However, when it takes you to the stage where you actually create your Ad/Ad Text there is a box there titled 'Final URL' and whatever you put in this box displays on the Ad itself so I put the domain of the offer I'm promoting (to make it look nice and neat in the Ad) - hoping that when people click the Ad it would still go to my Clickmagick Tracking Link that I initially inserted in 'Your Website'.

    It didn't... It just takes them to the offer of my domain...

    Any ideas?

    Seriously can't figure it out unless I put my Clickmagick Tracking Link in the 'Final URL' box which would then show up on my actual Ad and just look unprofessional...

    Thanks in advance.

    • You can simply switch to text ads to resolve this issue.
  • Many thanks for the awesome explanation. I had some success with Bing Ads in some verticals in USA. But the problem, not all verticals get a good volume of traffic and you are restricted to the USA traffic mainly.

    Would you please recommend good niches that get high volume of traffic on Bing and other countries other than USA?

    Thanks!

    • wealth, relationship and health.

      UK & Canada works well for me.

  • Bing has shifted to expanded text to increase conversion.

    One of the ways to increase conversion is by asking questions
    in the ads.

    Example:
    Are You Looking for Something? - We Have It!

    This is especially useful if you can't outbid your newly
    moved in competitors who seems to have a higher budget
    than you.

    I will discuss more strategies in the mail that I am going
    to send out in a few days.

    Keep a lookout for it.

  • Yes you can. Bing doesn't cost as much as Adwords.

  • Seems like this is the perfect thread to ask all my Bing/Clickbank questions - solarwarrior, thanks for keeping this thread active.

    I'm doing the classic Bing > landing page (pre-sell only, no opt-in) > sales page method, getting the sales, converting pretty well, 10/10 QS, 50% CTR on the landing page, but just struggling to make a profit, because my CPC for the current campaign is $1.20 and that keeps my ads in the top 3.

    Targeting US only (people in the target location) and bidding only on highly relevant keywords (phrase match) and also making use of broad match modifier to get some extra traffic from long-tails - total of 7 ad-groups, one for each keyword with perfect ads. Running daily reports for search terms and adding generic keywords into negatives list, so that keeps the overall traffic very relevant.

    Everything's fine, apart from the fact that I can't understand how you are supposed to make a profit bidding $1/click? Is this possible for Clickbank affiliates or better find a different niche?

    What would you say is your average CPC throughout your CB campaigns? Also wanted to know what you think about Bing/Yahoo search partners and whether you choose to go for max distribution for all search networks or you go for Bing/Yahoo only, or possibly search partners only?

    I'm trying to find someone who still promotes CB products as an affiliate via PPC and makes a profit in 2017, because since the $0.05 CPC days are gone, it's almost impossible nowadays to make a profit...

  • How to dominate Bing with competitors on BIG budget

    1. Offer a USP
    Be it having a better quality or extra features, state it in your ad so it stands out from the rest.
    I have seen similar ads who are copying each other and wonder why they are not getting any clicks.

    2. Throw a bonus
    Alright, so everyone is promoting the same "make money online" book. How does a reader decide whether to go for your offer?

    => Making the deal sweeter.

    You can offer video or audio recording that offer greater value than the book.
    Go the extra mile and you will be way ahead of other affiliates.

    3. Work on your CTR
    If your ads are getting low CTR, ask yourself why.
    Could it be your ad position?
    Could it be your ad copy?

    These 3 principles may seem simple but it has work wonders for many of my readers.

    I will post new updates once I have the time to do so.

  • Hi there,

    some quick tips to improve conversions before I go.
    1. add scarcity (timer and etc)
    2. call out their location using geotargeting
    3. add a phone number to increase credibility

    These tips alone has proven to increase conversion by as much as 11% across the board.

    That's means you get more sales within the same budget.

    Hit me up if you need advice on your lander.
  • I am almost done with a book I have worked on for a few weeks.
    So I am here to share one of the tips from my book.

    When you are bidding for keywords, always go for keywords with commercial intent.

    For example, if I am selling flowers.

    I will bid on "where to buy flowers, cheap flowers for sale" etc

    Bid on keywords that people are ready to buy so you can achieve higher conversion rate.

    I am starting a Facebook Group soon to give out more valuable content.

    Ask here if you have more questions. I will try to answer as much as possible.

    • I think you are over-simplifying things, when there's a LOT more to a "winning campaign", than just the above...

      What about tracking conversions, identifying converting keywords, bidding the right amount to get optimum positions, etc?

      Country/network targeting? It's crucial to get these right, then choosing a good niche/product?

      On the topic of search networks, you mentioned earlier that you do not advise targeting search partners and bid on Bing/Yahoo only, because search partners are a waste of time.

      However, the problem is that the traffic is not just limited on Bing/Yahoo only, but it's almost dead.

      To give you an example, just yesterday I received 349 clicks and only 55 of those were from Bing/Yahoo. That's also considering the fact that the current campaign is quite wide-open, with various broad-match modified keywords, so you can imagine what it's going to be like, if I start bidding exact match on selected keywords only....

      As for making 10 sales a day, I doubt you are doing it with 50 clicks/day....
      • [1] reply
  • Most advertisers make the mistake of trying to find cheap keywords to start with.
    Instead, focus on improving quality score to bring the price down.
    It will be easier to optimize and give you more time to worry about lp.
  • 1. Make sure whatever you promised on the ads are also shown on the landing page.
    2. If you are using banner ads, make sure you use the same color theme on the landing page.
    3. Create scarcity in your consumer mindset by having a countdown timer if you are selling goods.
    4. If you are selling service, make sure you differentiate and elaborate on the benefit of using your service.
    5. Have a contact form that sticks.

    That's all I can think of.
    Once I have more, I will update this post.
  • I sincerely drawing attention for Warrior's to find my solution.
