hi

i am a new IM in terms of earning revenue. i had very good experience with ppc though .

i used ppc for buisness model which is now not supported by bing and adwords .

so had to get into affiliate marketing . i do not have any traffic sites and can only depend on paid search for now to bring in traffic .

so what do you recommend for my situation ? i have tested pay per sale and it isnt converting well atleast for now

Maybe you have the wrong offer. Maybe try a different offer. we need more stats though to really help you out. You say its not converting. What does the commission pay? how much have you spent promoting the offer ? What have you optimised ? What is your CTR ? Have you made any sales at all ?

      hi toptips
      thanks for your reply

i was promoting two offers one was a antivirus software and other one was roadside assistance service . the commission is around 10%-20% . i got 1 conversion on antivirus when i first started campaign . But after that around 20 clicks but no conversion . on roadside assistance i got 3 -4 clicks but no conversion . the traffic is super targeted . i use single keywords ad groups .i checked the search terms and they were very much related to what i was offering . i am just directing visitors to my own landing page first and then with the help of buy now or join now button to the merchant affiliate link .

i think one thing i am mistaking is directly sending visitors to sales page without capturing email and building relationship .

You need about 100+ clicks before you can really start optimising. It seems you are a bit too restrictive in your initial bid price or your keywords as it doesn't sound like you are not getting much traffic.

Im assuming your antivirus campaign is in profit if you have one sale from 20 clicks.

From what I am reading conversion rates of 1-2% should be expected when you first start a campaign. So you currently have 1 from 20 which is 5% which is quite high for the first run of the campaign.

thanks for your reply but due to lack of budget i am now really confused what to do

1 . directly sale product on my landing page
          2. capture emails and then promote offers .
3 . instead of pa per sale engage in pay per lead

Most newbies start off promoting CPA offers. Sale affiliate programs are hard unless you have a list building system in place.

Hi there thanks for your reply

i have given up promoting per per sale offers and trying to promote pay per lead offers .i have decided to be consistent with this approach for at least 4-5 months now .
