Hey guys and gals
I ran this add for 3 days at just $10 a day testing it out. I am new to this. The ad was for a teespring campaign. I though I had good traction going but not even one sale!

What does the attached results tell you?

Thank you for your time!

Can you post a screenshot of your ad/copy?

It really depends on your niche but it appears like the activity is lower than it should be.

From this screen shot it you've got a Reach (# of times your ad appeared in the newsfeed) of 4,371 people and 37 people clicked through to your landing page, that's a 0.008% (37/4371) click through rate which is really low.

This really low click through rate tells me two things:

    1. Your ad creative - headline, image, post text, description, did not appeal to your target audience, so they didn't click.

My suggestion - try some new images, and headlines as they will have the biggest impact on performance.

    2. Your targeting was off. In other words you may have a solid ad but the audience your targeting is not interested in your offer.
My suggestion - you'll have to try new targeting groups. Think of the interests, popular facebook pages in your niche, etc. and target those.
Also, make sure you have your Facebook pixel on your website to capture any visitors that land on your page which you can later retarget.

On the Teespring campaigns I profited from I had a ~6% CTR and $0.05-0.10 per engagement targeting an audience with 1 million people.

These were from campaigns well over a year old, so it may be a bit harder to hit those numbers now.

Make the ad more appealing, so people would click on it! It has a low rating, and also, maybe change the target, maybe the right people haven't seen it!

    Hi MakemyOwn,

As AntonAtWork suggested, your CTR rate is so low that it indicates an issue with your message or audience targeting, or I would suggest, perhaps both are missing the mark a bit.

Another thing is that Facebook tends to overcount website clicks, by a lot. If FB is reporting 37 clicks then the actual number is probably closer to 15-20 website visits from your ad. If you were to get a typical 4% conversion rate then you haven't sent enough traffic to have earned your first conversion as of yet. Setup ad tracking on Teespring to verify your actual ad traffic from Facebook.

Also, heed AntonAtWork's advice about retargeting. Once you have the Facebook tracking pixel setup you can remarket to your previous visitors on Facebook, regardless of where the traffic originated from.
