some people here say that sending bing ads traffic works very well with clickbank, but also alot of people are saying thats not a good way to make a sale, that first you have to pre-sell and send them to a landing page to get there info (email address) so what would some of you guys agree too do with bing ads traffic? send them directly to a sales page from clickbank (also is it true you can send clickbank traffic right to the clickbank product without a shortening URL) or it would be wiser to use a shortening URL for tracking? or would it be alot wiser to first send them to a landing page to get there info (email address) and then have a button after the email that send them to the sales page?

which is the smarter way to use bing ads traffic?

    Hi Meyerlansky81,

It all begins with setting a goal that is based on you primary business objective. Not everyone has the same primary objective. Some people are merely trying to get a sale, and have no aspirations beyond that singular focus. Others are trying to build a business and are more concerned with generating value. One is a short-term approach the other takes into a longer viewpoint.

If you plan to do this for only a month or two, then you can focus merely on the easiest way to get a sale. If, however you are trying to build a business with value you must consider where you will be in 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, etc. First decide what your long term goals are and that will help your define the shorter-term objectives that will lead to the accomplishment of your long term goal.

If you want to build value then you need to do the things that will allow you to accumulate assets that has some value. A landing page is an asset. If the landing page has been well built, and you have performed a lot of testing and optimization then it will have even more value. If you are building a customer list you are building something that has value, if you are nurturing your customer/lead lists you are building even more value.

    Do you see the difference?

Decide what you want in the long run, then the next step will become very obvious.

This is nail on the head stuff dburk

I`ve been and in some ways still am where you are `Meyerlansky81` in my opinion Bing ads are great theres plenty of room for guys like us and $100 to $500 pay days with Clickbank and CPA are definitely there! past that sort of payout you might have to head to the mighty Google Adwords or look into media buys.

The problem with not building a business style set up ie landing page, emails ect .. is that its like gambling you can definitely get sales just direct linking to clickbank products definitely 100% I`ve done it many many times but you never get ahead just when your about to give up you get a sale and your back again high hopes just like those that bet on horses lol

Also I get it you just want some cash you`ll do the lander and email set up once you get some cash coming in but really to not even build a landing page with all the awesome tools and plugins is just sheer lazyness `Instabuilder` is like 90 bucks and once you know your way around the tool which takes all of a day you can bang out landing pages in under 20 mins and belive me once you get into it you will be banging out landing pages for fun you`ll think of a keyword and just build a lander for that keyword its that easy.

well i want this to be a long term thing, but i have an idea of a niche that would work very well in the next few weeks maybe a few months, but then i will want to switch it up to a different niche, so is it still worth it to build a brand for the long term? and send them to landing page which i can then save and maybe keep building the list for the same time next year, i see this as a seasonal thing too u know what i mean, some parts of the year you would want to promote 1 niche, another part of the year another niche, maybe during a big upcoming holiday another niche for example like during tax season i would want to promote financial niches in the beginning of the year till april 15 and then after that another niche, so is it ok to build the assets for a certain part of the year and then save it for the same time next year and so on with different niches?

    Hi Meyerlansky81,

You seem to have skipped over your long term goal rather quickly and jumped straight into strategies and tactics that are focused on a short-term goal. Nothing wrong with having short-term goals, but I did not see in your reply whether your long -term goal is to build value, or to simply sell things long-term. I assume from your reply it is the latter?

If you have no desire to build a business, and you just want to try something for a month or two, and then start all over again every few months. it could be good for learning the ropes I suppose. But is seems rather sisyphean to me to never build anything of value. Also to focus on seasonal niches is a strategy that will at least triple your efforts to make into a sustainable business, as you will have to make investments that sit idle for most of the year, your testing cycles may stretch across years, rather than months, to get actionable data.

Again, ask yourself if these things fit into your long-term goal. If the answer is yes, then go full steam ahead. If the answer is no, then you should consider this a diversion, and recognize you are not moving in the direction you want to go long term, and probably should reconsider.
