Have I chosen a dead market?

Hi!

I have written a report about recovering from antibiotics to see if there is any demand. Checking adwords there only seems to be 150 searches per month which seems way too little. So I wonder if there is any reason to go on with this or if I should switch market?

    Hi Nobeltwice,

It really depends upon your goal.

There could be a strategic reason for targeting that niche that makes sense, however no one on this forum could answer that question without knowing your specific goals.

You failed to mention "why" you chose that topic, what your product or service you are marketing, who your target market is, or what this has to do with PPC/SEM. Please share enough details that we can get a sense of what you are trying to accomplish and you are likely to receive some useful advice.

I don't see any reason to give you a run around the block answer. I'll more directly answer your question

If you are not selling something for a high price and profit then YES thats too low if its the only keyword you are targeting.

Thanks both for your input! My aim is to write an ebook about recovering from antibiotics. I dont know much about my market because I wanted to see if there were any market at all in the first place. I suspect people only realise they got gut issues which I know has a market but dont make the connection to antibiotics. To switch and target gut issues instead of antibiotics recovery can be done easily and sounds like the right thing to do considering your response.
