Hey there! The summer is at its peak, but today we aren't going to discuss the ways to enjoy hot days, but the ways to get hot clients. Whom do we call hot (or warm) clients? They are the ones willing to get the service here and now. It's high time for setting up a hot search company - we'll get your ad into search engine results page in 20 minutes.

LET'S GO!

MAKE UP KEYWORD LIST

This ad type is more effective, expensive and relevant in contrast to teasers and media advertising. And the ability to set it up is a big question.
In the previous article, we revealed how to efficiently drain the budget and the ways to avoid it. This article tells you exactly how to finally make up the list of keywords referring to your business.
Picking up keywords is not that easy. You'll need various resources similar to Google Keyword Planner.
To make up a list of keywords do the following:
  • Make a short description of your client's business structure.
  • Choose up to 2 or 3 selling search requests.
  • Divide them into groups for convenience.
START PICKING KEYWORDS WITH AUTOMATIC KEYWORD RESEARCH SERVICES

Try to create the corresponding groups for keyword distribution beforehand.
  • Add 2 or 3 gathered requests into every group.
  • Select a region.
  • Fill in the list of minus words according to the pre-set requests.
Check them blindly with Keyword Planner, paste your request and look through the list of irrelevant words.
  • Start with selling key phrases.
  • Place emphasis only on services and products in primary keyword set.
  • After you've finished with the setup, pass on to collecting tips.

WAYS TO FIND MINUS WORDS
Then, after collecting search tips, analyze what you've done with the following list:
  • Use EXCEL to divide the list into columns, use excel split space string.
  • Line up your words in a list.
  • Get rid of copied keywords.
  • Create LEN() formula in the second column.
  • Sort the words in ascending order from A to Z.

As far as this piece of work - cross out all short words (prepositions, link words, particles), necessary selling keywords, but simply leave minus words that you won't need anymore.
Upload the rest of the list to the Keyword Planner - this way you list will get narrowed.
And yes, look for the final copied keywords.

PICKING OUT THE SELLING KEYWORDS
Uploading thousands of requests is expensive, too long and unnecessary.
Choose the needed requests.
Do the following:
  • Determine your site's landing page request relevance.
  • Delete irrelevant page-keyword pairs from the table.
  • Evaluate Google AdWords competitiveness of requests.
  • Point out only the requests having non-zero frequency of direct entry.

After you end up with sorting, every group will be left with few keyword requests having:
  • Relevant pages on your site.
  • Traffic of direct entries.
  • Context competitiveness.

AD TITLES
Every specialist in context advertising has his personal samples that he uses for creating ads.
I mean, while generating your ad you should remember the rules:
Keyword request should be in the title or in the text of the ad.
  • The ad must contain a unique trade offer.
  • The ad must contain a call for action.
  • The ad mustn't exceed maximum line length parameter of the title and advertisement text.
  • The ad must start with a capital letter.
Thanks to our long lasting experience in generating simple context ad campaigns we've come to these title samples:

We simply approve the samples of several phrases with our client in order to attract the customer. What we use as a base:
  • Competitors' ad samples.
  • Customer's business peculiarities.
  • Current promotion actions.
Considering that the keyword must be EITHER in the ad text OR in the ad title we should use EXCEL formulas to distribute the titles to the corresponding lines.
By filling only two EXCEL columns - Keyword and Link, we finish with title samples and future ads texts.
Attention. AdWords use 2 text lines for description with limitations in 35 symbols. All you need is to word-separation formula - to separate Text to 2 columns
The last thing to do is to send the ad variants for the customer's approval. Then you're ready to upload.

UPLOADING READY MADE KEYWORDS AND ADS

Then all we need is to:
  • Transfer the keywords.
  • Transfer the ads.
  • Transfer minus words.
  • Use certain approval types.
  • Put the rates up.
  • Deal with client's budget.
  • Set up the analytical aims.
  • Get through moderation.

That's all. Your ad company is set up.

FOR THE SKEPTICS OUT THERE

Context advertising is easy to deal with. The only thing you need is EXCEL and keyword research and analyzing services. And skills.
