I bought a brand new domain so I can start doing some ppc campaigns. I will be using subfolders for different campaigns. My question is what should I do with the index homepage? Thanks in advance.

You dont have to do anything with your index page. Do your other pages link to index page? If so, I guess it will be enough to add some content. You dont have to use your index page on your Google Ads. Actually it is better to use sub pages / categories.

While you don't have to do anything with the index homepage, depending on how much traffic you're driving you could end up with people manually entering the url to check the validity of your company.

I always throw something up there as a best practice, or you could do a 301 redirect and just have the root url point to your most popular subfolder.

I have my root domain point to an offer, but to each his own. You can even have it go to a completely different site as I've seen some people do but the way I look at it is why waste traffic?
