Has anyone tested Instagram Ads? If so what was your result like

its not excluding Facebook I'm just going by the results. I made a page on Instagram with only 80 followers and already got 8 customers within 1 week with no promotion or Ads. Facebook had for 4-5months n paid for Ads got nothing

I get what you are saying, however you are likely comparing apples to oranges.

It is more likely that something was amiss with your FB campaign. Perhaps the campaign objective wasn't set to conversions, or your targeted audience wasn't ideal, or that your ad message wasn't resonating with your target audience. There are at least 100 things that could have been set wrong to cause poor FB ad performance.

In most cases I have seen, it comes down to an ad message that just doesn't resonate with the target audience, or targeting an audience that isn't in the market for your solution.

Your success on Instagram came as a result of Facebook's organic algorithm. Have you thought of using analytics to discover the exact audience that is converting in your Instagram organic audience? You could then target that same audience, with the same message, on Facebook.

I wouldn't be so quick to say that Instagram is more effective than FB for advertising. While that could be very true in your particular niche, it certainly doesn't apply to most other niches. It could even be true that the customers that converted off of Instagram first became interested and starting following your Instagram feed as a result of those very ads that you claim did not work.

A true marketer would seek to learn exactly why FB ads didn't convert, and why Instagram did. It almost always has to do with your ad content, audience targeting, or your campaign structure. Don't miss this opportunity gain an insight that goes beyond saying "Instagram is better than Facebook", that might be true but you haven't made a valid case for that until you understand why it is true.
