That will totally depend on the competition that is trying to bid for the same keyword. There is always a chance that you might have to pay a bigger CPC for the keyword but if you know how to optimize the campaign then you can always lower down your CPC.

If you pause your Google Adwords campaign & resume it after few months then its performance will not be same as earlier because competition changes everyday.
