(Here is a screenshot of my Adwords account on a typical day,
so I know what I am talking about when it comes to PPC)

Everyone who has heard or read my guides knows that they can be a gamechanger in your life if you applied it right.

This guide will not disappoint you if you are willing to put in the work to make it happen.

There are various factors when it comes to building a profitable campaign.

Here are the main 10 Factors You Should Do to Start Out Right.
1. Always have conversion tracking in place to make sure you know which keyword is converting.

2. Ensure your quality score is optimal so your cost is lower than your competitor and maximise profit margin on the backend.

3. Have an attractive ad copy to stand out from the rest.

4. Make sure your ad copy is relevant to the website you are promoting.
Do not make the mistake of promoting your homepage or any irrelevant page when starting out.

5. Have an eye-catching headline that corresponds to your ads to increase relevance score and audience retention.

6. Try to ask for a higher payout for your offer. Build a friendly relationship with your affiliate manager as they have an eagle view of what is converting and performing well on their network.

7. Always test variables in your funnel.
- Test your ad copies
- Test your websites
- Test offers from different networks

8. Collect email list if possible so you can resell different offers on the backend.

9. Go for recurring offers if possible to maximize your profit margin.

10. Scale up by duplicate your working funnel on a different traffic source. Eg. from Adwords to Bing and vice versa. It is the easiest way to get a bump in your traffic volume.

Added Bonus Tip
11. Try to ride on popular trends before it dies down. That's the easiest and fastest way to bank on it before it gets saturated and expensive.

Isn't Adwords very strict on promoting products as an affiliate, unless you are doing something else?

And what happened to your last thread about Bing + Clickbank? Why did it get closed? Lots of useful info there...

There are dozens of affiliate review sites on Adwords.
      For example,

The key is doing it smart.

I know there are a lot of misinformation regarding promoting affiliate sites on Google even from "Gurus".

Hence, I am here to clear it up.

I can't comment on the last part since it is a decision made by the management and doing otherwise won't be productive too.

I rather spend more time helping people out.

      Thanks.

      1. Make sure your ads are relevant to your keyword.
      2. Keep your ad group tightly themed (layman term for keeping the number of your keywords small & closely related)
      3. Make sure your landing page is relevant to your ads.

I have more information from Adwords Team since I am one of the top spenders in the state but they are highly classified.

But if you stick to this guide, you are better than 99% of the agencies or affiliates who still managing based on their gut instinct and misguided answers from "Gurus" in the forum.

Ok, so if you're selling wheel barrows, it would be a big mistake to have garden hoses mentioned on the same page, right?

It will be a big mistake if you have garden hoses in your ad group.
Having garden hoses on your landing page won't affect your score if you have wheelbarrows on it too but it will affect your conversion.

        Information overload is bad...

        Wrong information = death.

You have to back everything up you read before believing it. Even from the experts.

Excellent post btw. There is so much fluff on the internet about SEO but these guidelines are clear and simple.

SW, what do you mean by "attractive ad copy" (example maybe) and from your experience what are the main factors that contribute to a good quality score?

Try to include benefits in your ad copies.
For example, if "Bing PPC" is my bidding keyword,

Learn Bing PPC - Get More Sales Tonight
[Learn Bing PPC] -> Keyword in Title
[Get More Sales Tonight] -> This will be my benefit to attract the audience.

      1. Landing Page Relevance
      2. Keywords
      3. Ad Copies
