Before you start, do some reading. Then start "doing" it - The practical part (i.e. "the doing") is a bit more complicated.

    The reading part:

    1. Read this book:
    https://www.amazon.com/Advanced-Goog...dp/111881956X/

    2. Try to read most of Google's official AdWords help.

    The practical part:

    3. Do a thorough keyword research. Use a paid keyword suggestion/research tool that provides many good keywords, such as SEMRush (and/or a few other keyword tools). If you aren't investing into keyword tools, then at least get your keywords through AdWords keyword tool, and Google's related searches (i.e. bottom of Google SERP).

    4. Build a landing page to "catch" your AdWords traffic. If you are to sell an affiliate product, that's fine - Put it on your landing page. Make sure you write some good content (including text, images, or even Youtube videos - if they can help with conversions). Launch your site on Wordpress, with your own domain name, and use one of those landing pages builders such as Leadpages, ClickFunnels, etc.

    5. Install Google Analytics on your website. Link your Analytics account with your AdWords account. This gives you the power to use goal tracking as conversions for your AdWords account. Or you can stay with conventional AdWords conversion tracking.

    6. In AdWords, start with "search campaign" (i.e. no display advertising). You need to start somewhere in AdWords. Using keywords with Search campaigns to get the clicks, then "read" AdWords reports - Start with campaign reports, then keyword reports, then mobile/desktop reports, then geo reports, etc. Make sure you read through most of the help section content on Google AdWords' official website before you start - This will reduce your casualty (in burning unnecessary money). If you have done your keyword research well enough, you can rely on only phrase match and exact match keywords in your AdWords. These match types can avoid a lot of unnecessary money burning.

    7. Keep checking the reports in AdWords. If not sufficient data, then check the reports in Analytics. This is the way to figure out what keywords are burning you unnecessarily, and what keywords are good for conversions (or assisted conversions).

    Hi Rajeshwarie,

A good starting point: bump your 1 month window to 2-3 years. This applies to any online marketing strategy. It takes years to learn, study, apply, practice, create and connect, to gain confidence and clarity in your skills.

The best advice I can give you is a lot of coffee and a lot of research. You could learn a lot about PPC and internet marketing the course of the month but it will take a long time to become an expert.

There are resources everywhere. With the internet, anyone can become an expert if they just research and practice. Google Adwords is no different, you just have to be inclined that way to want to know Google. Start with the Google help centre and then when you want to learn from peoples experience, they buy the books and courses.

You can't remember anything until you take action yourself. So, I would suggest you to watch the newest videos on YouTube about Google Adwords. Try to understand the features as they describe how each of the functions works. Try to understand the steps that requires to setup a healthy campaign.

Now, create an Adwords account & try to make yourself. Its always important to understand the reason of using each feature in it. Think which feature will help you most & whats your Goal. Cause the campaign setup goes according to your demand.

    Cheers!

Google AdWords can cost you huge money if you don't learn it properly from an expert. I would say you should go with bing as it will cost you less.

  • This is the best link I got you to learn PPC - https://www.udemy.com/the-ultimate-g...rn/v4/overview

    Other suggestions:
    1. Don't merely depend on a single video or course, watch multiple vidoes of same topic e'g on YouTube, or other sources.
    2. Work on live projects. Nothing can beat having the particle work experience rather than just watching videos or learning about something.
    3. Don't get scared of applying or exploring new things. Try to explore new things and options in PPC, you will learn like this and will never forget.

    Hello Rajeshwari,
I would suggest you to go with Google Partners, the knowledge about PPC that you can gain from here, nothing can give you that. For this, you'll first have to sign up with Google Partners a/c, and then you are good to go. And simultaneously, learn with YouTube Videos. Following are the links:

Pay-per-click (PPC) advertising on search engines is the best form of advertising for attracting targeted leads and ready-to-purchase customers. This is something I have believed for nearly 15 years of doing PPC management, and is something I will believe well into the future. There is no greater sign of buying intent than someone typing a motivated query into a search engine to find answers.

Businesses that perfect their approach to PPC advertising grow like crazy. On the other hand, most new advertisers struggle with PPC marketing. They burn through their advertising budgets without seeing meaningful results.

When advertisers are not successful with PPC advertising, they are quick to blame Google. "It's too expensive," they will say. Or "I tried advertising for 3 days and didn't see immediate changes to my business. This doesn't work."

If you ask me, those who fail at PPC are really just giving up too early or they don't fully understand the game they are playing.

See all you need is to know what PCC is and how it works?
For that, you can either take help from Youtube or any other online course. All of these platforms will teach you the same thing, to create the difference you need to practice more and more. PCC is like "Practice makes the men perfect". The more you practice, more you'll get to learn. So keep researching and practicing.
    Peace.
