Gathering money for charity through ads

Hi there fellow marketers!

I'm in the process of building a website for a couple of charities.
The goal is to gather money for those through ads and donations.
My first thought was to use Googleadsense for the ads, however, they do not allow you to be open about your intentions with the ads, which I would prefer to be obviously.

Might be a stupid question, but is there any "ad place" that allows you to reveal your intentions with the ads?

    Could you clarify your question? Couldn't the ad copy in the ads reveal the intention?

    On another note, have you looked into Google Ad grants for the charities? If they qualify, Google will give them $10,000 USD of in-kind advertising every month from AdWords: https://www.google.com/grants/ and the site promoted through it can ask for donations.

    Note: There are certain guidelines that must be followed to maintain approved Google Grant status, but if those are followed it can be well worth 10 grand a month in free Adwords advertising!

    What? are you going to raise money for the charities via adsense? how? are you going to put the ads in the charity page? there are better ways to do that.
