You got anything related to Bing ads that can be avoided?

Or the rules apply the same for Bing ads too?

No one can help you without more information.

It could be any one of a 100 things. You need good targeting, good ad copy and good copy on your landing page.. plus the tech has got to work. And all of those have to be congruent.

It would be a landing page issue, but as you have already mentioned that your users get to the contact page; it can be a issue there. There can be a technical issue or your contact page needs improvements. The cure may be simple, first test your contact page.

  • Two main things that make advertising online a success. First, proper keyword targeting. So many get this wrong. Usually, they are too generic and this gets lots of low-quality impressions which leads to lots of low-quality clicks (ie: clicks that don't convert well).

The second thing is a poor landing page that doesn't convince the visitor that you are the one to buy from. Even if you do the first thing right, a poor landing page can kill you and there are plenty of these kinds of pages on the web.

As a few others said, hard to help with no information.

What type of products are you selling? Digital products or physical products? Are you the product owner or selling as an affiliate?

Are you sending traffic to individual product pages or a main page?

Are you advertising internationally or only to tier 1 countries?

How broad is your keyword targeting? Broad match? Phrase/Exact?

I am also having issues converting customers with Google Adwords and Bing Ads. I sell every automotive Synthetic fluid, oil, and filters AMSOIL. I am directing customers to my website www.durableoil.com the keywords I am using all have a buy, order, purchase keyword right before the product name and I am using Phrase and exact match only. Where can I get a Professional ad copy so I can get more clicks? What other advice would you guys have? How to choose converting keywords that give great return on investments?

I think this is a Google Adwords problem, too many expensive words with very bad conversions, I have written google adwords team that it is ineffective for campaign, but you know...it does not matter to them

  • NiftyStats, keywords don't convert, your landing page does and in fact is its job, not the keywords'. Now if you use irrelevant or less relevant keywords for your product, that's your fault, not Google's. It's a self-serve platform and you are in total control. You can't blame them for that.

As for expensive, that's relative. You may think paying $1 is expensive but there's two things at play here. First, there's your ad quality. Again, you are in total control so even if your keywords are super relevant, if your ads are not good, you're going to pay more. The other is that competitors set the prices. If the consensus is that $1 is a fair price to pay and still profitable, that's where the price will gravitate.

There are literally millions of advertisers on Adwords and many having done so for years. Seems it's effective for them.

Durable Oil, I'll assume relevant keywords. You want more clicks so you need ads that convince more people to click. You also need to re-emphasize that on your landing page to make more sales. I'm assuming here too you send clicks to appropriate pages which could be your problem.

Most posts also rarely give enough information. What's your average position and CTR? What's your QS? It's nice and the goal to get more clicks but if your QS is already 10, getting any extra is more difficult. What's your conversion rate? Here too it would be nice to get a higher rate but there's a difference being at 1% than if you were at 5%.

But I think in your case it's more a matter that your products can be bought anywhere. You're not targeting me because I don't change my own oil, I go to a garage. Even very small towns have a garage and the necessary oil I can buy there, so that makes it difficult to sell online. You have to get them a really good reason to do so, especially since I think your prices are about the same I could buy locally. So that's are harder sell.

I also notice that you are redirecting to another domain, the parent company, as if you're an affiliate. How are you handling the conversion tracking?

I would suggest you do a remarketing and sought out the high intent keywords and run ads on that.
Also, you should have a remarketing campaign based on time spent and then see how it goes. "
As said 800 is too much for no conversion.

May i suggest also that you check if conversion code is working fine or not, it is a newbie mistake but can happen with anyone.

Google is becoming very costly day by day. They are charging people too many for a silly words. Sometimes paying money for this costly words are proving a huge lose to investor. if you get no return after using Google Adword PPC then it is really frustrating. Why not give a try at social media like Facebook or Twitter?

Yep, main reason l gave up on PPC, years ago, too expensive and it is next to impossible to find the kw's that convert more than once.

And years ago Google told me were l could put my squeeze page, basically on the last few pages in a 10 page site, down the bottom of the page, or in other words, useless.

That was after spending a week reading their rule book.

You pretty much have to take a loss, and sell a cheap product in order to create a list, then hope that it converts.

Hey, it is impossible for any one to help you out without seeing your website/campaigns. I would however look at your website first. Maybe install a tool that will record the behaviour of your customers to better understand their journey. I personally use SmartLook.
Once you fix the website, you can then focus on your campaigns. Start by targeting some exact match keywords first to make sure all of the traffic is highly targeted and expand later.

Hit me up if you have any more specific questions, will be happy to help.

What makes a high converting campaign is relevance. Your campaign need to be relevant from keywords to ads to landing page. This is what get conversions. Example if your keyword is buy blue car, your text ad must say buy blue car, your landing page must say buy blue car.

Another questions is, how many clicks have you received. Are you location targeting correct? Are you settings good?
