    Hi mamun87,

    1) As new website what should i target directly search network? or for branding i should use display network first? which will be most effective for my website?

For Branding you can use both Search & Display network. But just for branding I prefer Display Campaigns

    2) is it okay to do adwords campaign without SEO? I have a plan to do it later but i want to run adwords campaign first.

Its 1000% ok to do AdWords without SEO. If you are going to do AdWords then there is no need to do SEO

    3) is display network perfect for branding?

    Yes, its perfect for branding

If you are putting some budget and running campaigns its great but at the same time you need to monitor how your campaigns are working which ad is giving you conversions and which keywords are working for your campaign. Referring to them you need to make changes or else you will loose your money.Check with some analytics tool to monitor your traffic.

If you have got good budget, Display network on Google Partner's Websites is good to go. Else, stick with Search Network with Smart Strategies.

    Cheers

I think running Pay-Per-Click advertising campaign on both networks using only a single strategy can spell disaster for all digital marketing efforts. There will only be a slim 1% chance that using a single strategy for both networks will work out - so it is vital that you get a clear understanding of what's in and what's not in each network.

So, what is the best way to run an AdWords campaign? Well, there isn't really a clear-cut answer to this. If you are new to AdWords, I would suggest running your ads only on the Google Search Network. It's important for you, or whomever manages your campaign, to get to know the AdWords system well and what works, or doesn't work for your brand or company before you venture into the Wild, Wild West. Have fun and Yehaw!

      Good Luck, mamun!

    1) As new website what should i target directly search network? or for branding i should use display network first? which will be most effective for my website?

Depends on your end goal, really. If you want to drive some leads or even sales through your website through AdWords, start with only search campaigns (network). The reason behind is simple: Users on Google directly make keyword searches, and are actively ready to look for something. The concept behind the users' search action is the "pull" method.

With display campaign, you are pushing an ad to the users when they are actually browsing some other websites for something else, and they aren't prepared to look for the stuffs on your website. That's why display network is for pure branding.

    2) is it okay to do adwords campaign without SEO? I have a plan to do it later but i want to run adwords campaign first.

It's always okay to first run with only AdWords campaigns, without any doing any SEO for your website. This doesn't have direct negative effect to your AdWords campaign.

Though, if you want more traffic in the long term, do proper SEO for your website. This in the long run will save you some advertising budget.

    3) is display network perfect for branding?

Pure display campaign's aim is for branding.

But if you add retargeting to the mix, then display isn't always only about branding.

  • As you already know people uses both Google Adwords campaign with SEO and Display Campaign for their Websites, both are very handy and fruitful. My opinion is your should use both platform along side with paying money in Social Media . Facebok, Twitter, Instagram etc can be also good platform for you. Please select good keywords for your web business.

There is no minimum requirement that you should be doing SEO if you want to continue with PPC. SEO and PPC are two different things and so this clears your 2nd point.

    My suggestion.

Search and Display networks are two completely different approaches towards promoting,

Search network - This is more of a "Need" based target wherein people search for the service and it gets displayed or listed.

Display network - This starts with a "Want", this is primarily used for Branding and Retargeting. "Picture talks a lot than words". You are showcasing the product or service to those who MAY be interested or would have searched or viewed similar products a few days back based on cookies.. but it may not be a requirement now...

The answer to your question 1: As new website what should I target directly search network? or for branding i should use display network first? which will be most effective for my website?

I would recommend you to spend on both the type of networks to start with it can be on the display and then enter into search network.

    2) is it okay to do adwords campaign without SEO? I have a plan to do it later but i want to run adwords campaign first.

If it perfectly fine to run adwords without SEO.. In many instances even when the SEO is done, there are paid campaigns happening for the same brand. as SEO requires consistent updates and monitoring to always stand on the top list and is a bit unpredictable due to dynamics in search engines.

    3) is display network perfect for branding?

Yes, it is. it has an advantage of the number of impressions (number of times it is displayed ) and easy retargeting.

    Hello,

    1. replying to your first question, it totally depends on your situation that how you want to run your add you can also run GSN or GDN. I would suggest you try to run both the types of add at first & later on as per result choose best add which is performing well.

    2. yeah ! it is completely okay to run campaign without SEO because SEO helps you to rank your website organically whereas Google AdWords are the add that just bring traffic to your website.

    3. yeah it is perfect for your branding.
