Bing Ads - How To Split Test Landing Page

I want to split test two different landing pages on Bing Ads. I have two ads that are exactly the same, the only difference is they go to two different landing pages. And although I do have conversation tracking set up, I cannot figure out how to tell which landing page created the goal.

I have been working on this for a couple of hours, reading articles, watching YouTube videos, and although everyone says you should split test your landing page, I cannot see anyway to actually tell which ad sent me the conversion.

This is driving me crazy, can anyone know how to do this?

I recommend you use ClickMagick which is will work for you and it's really affordable and has a 14 day trial. They have excellent tutorials on how to set split testing and tracking as well setting up Bing Ads that pass the keywords.

Here's what you need to do:

    1. Create a tracking pixel and add it to the conversion page.

    2. Create Sub Group if you want to keep all your Bing Ads traffic or offer together (optional)

    3. Create a link to your primary link which is quite straight forward to do and leave it at redirect.

    4. On the Links page you see your new tracking link has it's own row. Click on the gear icon and click on Split Testing

    5. Add your Secondary link in the appropriate field and ensure both weight fields are 50% since you're trying to find your control with this test.

    6. Setting Up Ad: There are videos and articles for every step above in ClickMagick's Help section (just search Bing Ad), and there is a whole article and video on how to set up your Bing Ad campaign to track your keywords.

You can also add additional Bing parameters as well.

ClickMagick has excelllent and fast support, if you have any issues.

If you're using Google Analytics and have goals setup, you can go to Conversions > Reverse Goal Path, and go back to see what LP they came in from.

Or you can just do it the "old-school" way of testing one lander for X number of clicks, then test the other for the same number of clicks.

Thank you for all suggestions! I do have Google Analytics set up, but the reverse path just says (entrance). That would have been an easy way to do it. Might just go with the old school way as I am not trying to spend any unnecessary money at this point.

If you use BeMob, they have a free plan that has the option to split test landing pages. You just add the landing pages then select the weight to determine how often to display each lander.
