About Google's Mandatory Parallel Tracking In October 2018

Hi

i think for those using adwords, you might have heard about the mandatory tracking coming in october 2018.

I have a question for those that might be currently using it or have knowledge about it.

If you have a final url example.com

and your tracking url for the same adcopy is mytracker.com/randomnumbers

however, the above tracker url goes to example.com/specific-page because google will let you have example.com as a final url even though the tracker url actually goes to example.com/specific-page.

Now, my question is when the parallel tracking is rolled out or becomes compulsory, would you need to change your final url OR will

google send your visitors to the specific lander from your tracker url i,e example.com/specific-page while loading the tracking information on the background

OR will google use what you have out in for final url/display url?

please only answer if you are 100% sure.
