I am guessing this is a huge topic to explore - spending your small budget on buying traffic.
I was looking at addmoretraffic among others.

Anyone had success with these as I only have a small budget.

Sorry mods if posted in wrong place I am sure you will correct me!

Looks like their 'targeted' traffic is geo-targeted.

I could be wrong, I didn't spend much time exploring their service.

Generally, if it's just geo-targeted traffic then it *might not* be much use to you, unless you're specifically looking for traffic from certain countries.

Its best to targeted based on niche / interest.

      Targeted traffic does mean GEO-targeted.

Meaning you are able to get traffic from whatever country you want you will have to tell the person where you would want it from.

It is also best to target the traffic to the direct website url.

Another thing to keep in mind Gary; bought or purchased traffic is a group of humans who have some incentive other than being 100% interested in your blog. This is not good or bad; just true

But....like when I clicked your link a second ago, saw your blog (and left you a comment), your insight and your expertise, you piqued my interest a bit more....although....are you Ron Cripps? If not, begin writing content to add credibility to your blog and brand.

Quality traffic is 100% interested in you based on:

    - the skills you develop
    - the value you share
    - the bonds you build with humans who dig your blog, your knowledge and your generosity

If you buy traffic, this traffic is usually low quality because these folks haven't bought into you yet, you being a stranger.

Something to keep in mind dude

"Adding more traffic" just for the sake of uping your traffic count is a waste of money, IMO. You would be much better off focusing on one person, then another, then another who have "qualified" themselves as being interested in expressly what you are offering. Said another way . . . I would rather pay $2 for one lead that was qualified than for 20 leads that came from cold traffic.

Sometimes when you have a tiny budget, it's best to hold onto your cash until you know that your traffic source and offer will be profitable. Instead, set up some small campaigns and begin driving free traffic to them. When you get positive results that you're happy with . . . then is the time to start the flow of paid traffic (small at first and scale up the profitable campaigns).

    Hey There,

    Just a recommendation

Try to do some forum posting that'll allow you to add a signature line, so as you are posting useful content, people will see your signature line, and possibly click it. This comes down to knowing your market, and knowing where they hang out.

Then you can go onto paid traffic. Try e-zine advertising and / or banner ads. This you can secure from the site, Buy Sell Ads.

So from this you could go this route for traffic:

    (Free) Forum Posting = Everyday

    (Paid Traffic) - E-zine/Banner Advertising = Once a week

From the above you could have a steady flow of traffic.

    Hey There,

Backlinks are good to boost seo rankings, and get your site/offer out there.

But, what I would recommend is you have feeder sites that would be linked to your main site/offer.

The reason being, if for any reason those backlinks lose their juice / quality over time. Your main site will be protected

    Hope this helps you.

I'm afraid it's difficult today to buy cheap traffic. There are so many people that try to take advantage of peoples desperate need of traffic.

One good source is solo ads. But there is also the risk to be scammed.
Look out for sites that offer solo from different vendors. They have to pay for the service and you as well on top of the price.
People also buy solo ads and sell and suddenly they are solo ad vendors.

Sorry not much help I can give. Try to find people that have success with their solo ads and ask them about the source.

It depends more on the platforms you buy from :

If I had a $500 per month marketing budget I would focus nearly all of my resources on Facebook advertising. An overwhelming number of consumers are on Facebook, so no matter your target market you will have a large pool of potential customers.

On top of that, Facebook's advertising platform is so highly targeted every dollar you spend will put to good use, as everyone who sees your content will be the exact target demographic that you are looking for (so long as you know who your consumer is and how to setup an effective audience in Facebook Ads Manager).

In addition to being highly targeted, the cost to advertise on Facebook is relatively low, so $500 will give you very significant reach. You could even spend $100 a month to develop high quality, shareable content, then use the remaining $400 and still reach well over 100,000 people (depending on your target audience and other factors).

    Gary-

If you have a small budget- I'd recommend A/B testing at no more than 2 dollars a day. Make sure prior to this you have a strong grasp on targeted audience's whether through their demographics and/or psychographics. I'd recommend that you bring these PPC visitors to a landing page which has a PPC tracking code to measure success.

A good analogy for PPC vs Organic that I heard a while back was ... If you use PPC has the main way for website traffic, you're renting your audience whereas if you provide a true database of useful content + articles you have homeowners that are loyal to your brand.

Organically there are ways that you can increase website without breaking your bank. Social media could be your best friend. USE influencers to get in front of your audience. Twitter has an advanced filter option to scan #'s that are relevant to your industry try that.

i.e - If there is a leader in your space that has a large following ask to be featured. Not only will they share your article to a large audience, but if the influencer is true "a leader" in your space these should be the right individuals.

Use websites like Quora to see if there are any questions that your articles might be useful for.

Let me know if it makes sense to connect more than happy to help.

SEO is a steady method to get GEO targeted traffic and it's always will be. It would takes 1 or 2 months of work to build a authority website ( based on your seo knowledge). After that you just need to maintain the website and freelance the timely required task. So, you have enough time to focus on paid traffic. As you already research the niche and keywords for SEO, It would relatively easy to drive paid traffic to your website. After 5 month you have steady decent income from your organic traffic and whenever you feel comfortable you can boost the income by driving paid traffic. ( Not an expert, Not yet )

Sadly, I have to say that the most worthy traffics are from Google Ads. And with the "selling" keywords to begin with. Like "one day samsung smartphone service." But it sure can be much more expensive. Some of the paid traffics actually are not human but bots. If you are like paying 2 dollars for 1000 visitors, you should doubt that those 1000 are real human. How can the traffic provider manage to give an incentive for real humans to visit our site with such low money?

I've also tried FB ads with a few clicks and 0 sales. I can't categorically say that you shouldn't try these methods because, certainly in the case of FB ads, I may not have done the ads properly. 1 thing to remember B; "trying" solo ads does not mean a 1 time deal buddy. More like 20 or 30, or more. Here's why: nobody gets it right the first time and few the 10th time. With anything. But after a significant time investment, and an equal hefty money investment, if you observe and learn, you prosper through any channel online.

Yes, it's extremely important to understand why you want the traffic, and then measure if a particular source is going to actually do what you want. Pop unders/click jacking means no human is going to see your site. Geo targeted human traffic might not be interested in your content, but interest-targeted human traffic might be from a lower-value geo.

Most in demand today: Rs-Context, WmLink, clickunder.ru, RuClicks.com. With the help of these resources, traffic is sold, both mobile and web, at a price of 0.11 rubles. The mechanism is simple: register on the exchange, find a suitable offer and place a banner / link or another advertising tool of the advertiser on your Internet resource.

If you have small budget then my suggestion is try youtube ads. First create a 1/2 minute video (Niche related) then upload it on your channel and make it public. But before you do that don't forget to do the on page SEO. After uploading use adwords to boost your video. You need to link your adwords account to your channel so that adwords can understand you own the channel. Boost your video now. Add the targeted keywords. Now only for $10/$20 you will get 3k-4k views. It will help you to get ranked on the first page. If not then forget the ranking. Now create an audience using adword. Those who only watched your video now you will show text/banner ads. It's call retargeting. Now by this way you can promote your ad to only the targeted people and adwords will only cost you a few dollar for this. I hope this will help you. If you want my personal help I can do this at my free time.

Instead of buying traffic, why not advertise it? if your website gains popularity traffic will come.

Think of it like this, buying traffic will attract temporary one time visitors, but advertising for a specific market that is interested in your website or services will attract interested traffic that will revisit your site again and again and again.

The easiest and free way is to create your own video marketing content.
You can start as small as creating a honest review video of new product launch. You can either buy the product yourself and test it. You will be doing service to people by saving their money. You can also offer them some free quality content to join your mailing service. And yes if you are short of cash you can request the product creator to provide you with a review access. In turn be honest review about the product and share feedback to make the product good. Most of the marketers would let you in provided they find you genuine. Everyone is green and has started the same way so the eco system will support you.

    Cheers,
    Andy

Hi Gary, I checked their website and honestly I will not suggest you to use their service as they might say the traffic is targeted but it really isn't. It can be a lot of bots and all plus even if it is real traffic, the visitors will just come and leave because there is a high chance they are not looking for what your website has to offer. You should really be using Google Ads and create some good campaigns with keywords that have low competition. That will help you in the longer run I would say instead of using such services.

  • It doesn't matter how much money you have to use in order to buy traffic, but if you can't turn a profit, you shouldn't go with paid traffic.

All you need to si hustle and only get earned traffic:

    1. Help people on social media,

    2. Blog each and every day,

    3. Quora answers bring in targeted traffic.

    4. Youtube as well can help you bring in some traffic.

    5. What I recommend is that, as long as you are creating something extremely valuable for your audience, you will make money: The world was not designed to give you what you want nor what you need, but it was designed to give you what you deserve and the more people you can help to get what they want, the more money you can make.

I wish you good luck and much success!

Well, if you're on a budget just know that any type of paid traffic is still considered cold traffic.

Unless you know you can be laser targeted with your paid campaigns, have an insanely high converting offer and have lots of patience, chances are you won't hit a positive ROI too soon.

I would start with free traffic method strategies first. Once I get the ball rolling and started seeing decent results, I can then start playing with paid traffic, knowing that it'll take some trial and error and budgets will be wasted until you're able to see some results

Either way and whatever you do, never ever forget to build your email list while working on traffic. That in itself is your traffic on-demand for whenever you need it!

    Good luck

Some good speeches here from what I like to call "idealist warriors" who strive to stick to the highest possible path in all marketing dealings.

However an ideal world is not one we live in.

The facts are that MOST brands MUST purchase traffic of some type.

Organic traffic is not as easy to come by as it was for folks to type their answer here.

My main point is this... BEFORE organic growth and viral growth can happen... you have FORCED GROWTH which is another word for advertising.

It all goes back to the chicken and the egg... or maybe the Field of Dreams?

Just building it doesn't mean people will come.

You can have all the value in the world and be the coolest person but that won't matter until someone sees it, and tells a friend about it.

And until you buy traffic in some way, you are only really scratching the surface of the # of people you can reach.

Now that being said 99% of paid traffic is a scam or worthless so you are not actually any closer than when you started.

That is the reality and why so many people try to talk you out of buying traffic. They have probably tried it and been scammed. Hence they think all paid traffic is a scam.

What you really need is cheap, affordable and plentiful traffic that you can then CONVERT into a sale. Plenty of places for this exists... such as safelists, solo ads, and any other media buying you c could think of.

The real question is how much can you invest and how much could you afford to lose? Because buying traffic is like gambling... unless you have bought from that vendor before.. and sent that traffic to the same url... you can't predict the results.

So avoid being scammed, only spend money on traffic you KNOW is good quality, that way your landing page is the only "UNKNOWN" factor in the equation.

The way I see it from experience and lessons learnt the hard way, buying traffic is like investments.

The more you invest, the more likely you will get out / profit.

But it still boils to 3 critical factors.

    1. Is your offer in demand? Doesn't matter if you are promoting physical / info products?

    2. And who are you targeting?

    3. Your ad copy as in headline, content and image.

In the online world, I like solo ads from UDIMI. I also do pretty well with safelists.

The key to buying traffic is TESTING. Test your capture pages, your lead source and conversions. Test and tweak until you find something that works.

And whatever you do, don't just send people to a sales page first. Always send to a capture page first.

      I hope that helps.

I don't support buying traffic anymore. Rather you should hire someone and do manual posting. If you can drive traffic from organic search that would be nice. Thanks!

I would focus nearly all of my resources on Facebook advertising. An overwhelming number of consumers are on Facebook, so no matter your target market you will have a large pool of potential customers.

You have to be careful with these traffic sellers. I used to use them and they worked for me many years ago when I was promoting generic Viagra from offshore pharmacies and gambling sites.

It took me a while to find a couple sources that actually sent me convertible, human traffic. Most of those traffic sellers are selling nothing but pure junk, bot traffic. None of my sources from back then are in business any longer (at least not at the same domain names), so I cannot give you any recommendations.

You also have to understand that your landing page/ad, is usually served via a pop-under when people visit certain sites. So your product has to be appealing to that type of person that would click on a pop-under ad lol. Gamblers, for instance, are a big target for this kind of advertising because they are so addicted and gullible. But they usually still know what to look for so you do need to know how to appeal to them nonetheless, just like in any other type of marketing/advertising. It's a very "spammy" kind of advertising so it's only going to appeal to certain crowds with certain products. There are a lot of people that buy from popups (and even spam emails) but it has to be the right type of product pitched in the right way.

But like I said, even if you still have the right product for this traffic with the proper landing pages, you still have to find a reputable source and that could cost you quite a bit of money in trial an error. And just because a traffic seller tells you it's "targeted traffic" and they make you pick from a list of target categories, it doesn't mean they will only show your ad/landing page on sites that match your chosen category. "Targeted traffic" sellers are shady as hell and so is their traffic.

My recommendation is to forget that kind of traffic and stick to more "legit" sources and techniques as others have pointed out.

On the other hand, if you do have "that" type of product to sell, it may be worth you while to try to research and find the sellers that actually send real, convertible traffic. Just be careful.

  • Buying traffic only work when you are working in company and trying to increase customer selling. In the case first you need to make sure you site have enough review which will able to attract customers to website.

The other thing is that, when your website have above 5000 post which have limited traffic but you are getting some response from them than you can go with buying traffic because on that case it will give you result and increase your sell.

On the other hand, you need to make sure your are spending money on the right place where you will get huge right traffic not spam traffic. Only right traffic can increase your websitee traffic and buying traffic is successful.
