Google adwords Budget allocation.

Dear All,

I need to submit a project for 4 models of Nissan cars i.e. Micra, Sunny, Terrano, Micra Active

Budget is Rs 1 crore per month.
Target location is India
Client wants to get at least 1 lac clicks in one month.

Question : How to divide one crore between search ad, display ad and re-marketing ad.

Please suggest.

    Search is limited in reach - as it depends on no. of people searching for these keywords & also location. If it is 1 crore a month, you want to ideally allocate more to Display.

    What kind of 1 lakh clicks a month are they looking for? Are they looking for qualified people who are likely to buy or general information consumers?

    Hi There,
    I think one can generate more that 1 lakh clicks/month with the budget of 1 crore/month. Budget can be distributed into 3 campaigns, 30% on the Search Ads, 40% on the Display Ads and the rest amount can be added to the remarketing ads.
    Need to find out the target ads demographics along with the locations. Targeting Metros, Tire 1, 2 cities can be more effective. Checking of google trends gives the best results. After 1 months of work, you can reduce the search budget and add it in remarketing campaign.

    It all depends on what goal client would like to achieve? If it is conversion then I would recommend Search Ads and Remarketing Ads. For Branding I would use display ads. If you have some old data or have an access to the analytics then use those data to predict for your target goal. I would use 50% Search Ads, 35% for Display and 15% for Remarketing.

    I would suggest starting with $1,000-1,500 per month. Any less than that and it will be difficult to gather real data, especially in a highly competitive industry like that (that may not even be enough).

    Now since you have not mentioned the goal behind your campaigns clearly, I would suggest -
    1. For Leads and Inquiries -
    Allocate 60% budget on Search Campaigns, 25% budget on Display Campaigns and 15% budget on Remarketing campaigns. This strategy works well for lead generation.
    2. For Branding and Traffic -
    If you are aiming to get maximum reach and traffic for brand awareness, you can -
    A - Spend all your money on Display Network(65% Display Ads + 35% Remarketing).
    B - Allocate 60% on Display ads, 25% on Search Ads, 15% on Remarketing campaigns. This will help you to be present on all platforms.
