PDFs and Videos Content

Hi!

For a PPC campaign, I herd that to get a favorable rating with Google Ads, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, etc. native ads should link to useful content rather than to sales pitches. Is it true?

If so, does content in the form of PDF files or videos (rather than traditional blogs or Facebook posts) also result in favorable ratings?

Thank you!

One of the ways to get ranked is based on how long someone stays on your page. If you link to a sales page right away, you're going to have a lot of people clicking away quickly.

PDFs and videos, which (should) offer true value, have better chances of keeping visitors on the page for a longer period of time, which will help increase your ratings.

    Dear palmtreelife,

    Thank you for your reply!

What about the content itself? Google searches the content of HTML pages. Do they search PDF files? What happens w/ videos?

I don't know about PDF files, but videos can actually help you to increase your conversion.
