Hi all,

I am new to Facebook Ads. I have run some push ads campaigns in the past and it is easy to optimize them using tracking tools because you know which Zone ID is giving you conversions.

My Question is how to go about optimizing Facebook Ads CPA campaigns. You cant put conversion pixel on Offer's thank you page as you don't have any control over them.

So visitor clicks on the ad and goes to landing page -> From their visitor goes to CPA campaign. So in this scenario how do I know what audience is performing well and what audience is giving me conversions?

Thanks.
Ahmar.

This is a common problem in the world of affiliate marketing - lack of control of what happens on the merchant's website and TY pages.

Most CPA networks should normally provide you with the ability to add the conversion pixel (postback URL) to their portal, which allows you to fire the pixel from their server backend (as opposed to the merchant website - client based pixel).

Which CPA network are you using? Do they have provide an option for conversion tracking?

Thank you Alex for your reply. I am using MaxBounty and they do provide postback URl. I have bemob tracker and from there I have set up my postback url to maxbounty.

So Tracker knows when the conversion fires from MaxBounty. But the problem is that how do I connect my landing page/Offer to my facebook ad. I can use pixel on my landing page to track clicks to the offer but then I wont know what ad set or what audience brought in the conversion you know

There are tools out there that can help you to integrate your affiliate sales into Facebook Ads pixel. With that your sales will automatically be attributed to your campaigns, ad sets and ads. With the data included in your Facebook Ads platform you can easily optimize on cpa conversions.
