Unable to add the lead event to my Facebook Pixel

I am launching a Facebook ad where prospects will get a piece of downloadable content in exchange for their name and email.

I have a landing page set up to capture the info.

I'm trying to add a lead event to my Facebook Pixel.

I'm running into problems at the point where I have to enter my website URL.

Here is a video of me going through the process.

when I could not fix the problem I turned on the automatic event setting. Will that be helpful?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried removing and re-adding the pixel on your website?

Do you use a specific CMS like WordPress?

There could be many reasons for it not working and simple workarounds.

Try again with the pixel code integration and see if that resolves the issue.

Hi Tom,

Try entering a fully qualified URL including the protocol, (i.e. https://www.yourwebsite.com) and see if that works.

Personally I like to use Google Tag Manager because it gives me more options and control.
