YouTube ads in the mental health niche

Hi all,

I'm a hypnotherapist who helps people with a specific niche mental health disorder.

Because I'm not a "qualified" therapist and in a similar category to a life coach, would this mean YouTube ads would be a no go for me due to rules like:

"you must not entice users to part with money or information through a fictitious business that lacks the qualifications or capacity to provide the advertised products or services"

Or is it worth a go?
#pay per click/search engine marketing (ppc/sem) #ads #health #mental #niche #youtube

  • Does that describe you or not? Are you qualified legally to offer the service you are offering? If some here say 'worth a go' and 'go for it' - doesn't change the outcome if YouTube see it as a violation.

If you're not a qualified therapist, then legally you might not be qualified to offer the services you have.

  • You need to be legally qualified to do so, but if you are still confused that they will accept it or nor, you can just give a shot once, at least that will gives questions to all your answers.
