Hello everyone,

I have a TikTok account registered in Spain, and when managing promotional campaigns, I can only target regions within Europe. Is there any way to expand the promotion to Latin America?

I have tried to find information on this, but I haven't been able to resolve my doubts. I would appreciate any insights on geographical restrictions in TikTok Ads and possible solutions.

    You should address this question to TikTok Ads staff so
    that they can tell you exactly what is available to you.

    As to other solutions, maybe you can set up additional
    TikTok accounts (if it is permissible) and try to generate
    organic traffic to promote your products.

    Work with what you have and carry on.

      Thank you. Yes; I contacted TikTok support just yesterday to ask.

      I shouldn't change or use a different account because I'm not promoting products. I'm promoting the musical project I lead (I'm a composer). And I'd like to expand it beyond my region. But TikTok only lets me select Spain and surrounding countries to promote.

        That is very wonderful.

        I wasn't suggesting that you set up additional TikToks to buy ads,
        but to promote your product/project organically.

        I have several TikToks but I am not the arbiter of their rules.

        You can always set up other social media accounts elsewhere,
        and/or have other people promote you as well.

    Hey!
    TikTok usually limits targeting based on the account's billing country. Since your account is registered in Spain, it only allows European targeting.
    If you want to target Latin America, you'll need to create a new TikTok Ads account with a billing country from that region (like Mexico or Colombia).

    Personal TikTok Ads accounts are usually restricted from targeting globally, you could look into renting agency ads account if you want to target people from other countries/regions.

    If your tiktok account was made in Spain, then you are only allowed to advertise in Spain.

    Tiktok's rules are so stupid...

    It's not even that you can advertise in another EU country as said above. No. You can only advertise in the country of your account. Period.
