Targeting with Facebook Ads

Hello Warriors, I'm have a planning a new building campaign. I want to drive traffic to my squeeze page using facebook ads but Im but stuck on how to go about targeting people that will be interested in my conent and will hopefully buy the products I promote to them.

Problem is my wholesale products. There really aren't very many groups or pages on Facebook that are based around this subject, I was hoping to put Facebook sniper to use and extract audiences from some active groups but looks like I'm going to have to go about it in another way.

My niche is still based on making money online so surely some of you guys have ways you go about targeting your ads to this audience?

You don't always need scrapers to get good targeting for facebook. In fact there's so many sub groups in there that you can target.

What I like to do is type in the keyword, and then type in letters before, and after to see what sub words facebook can create for me. Also adding words such as forums, organizations, etc will also give you some really good targeted traffic as long as you don't go crazy broad with it.

Just test, and see what happens.

I think you can target by demographics quite easily now via FB ads (age, gender, location, employment, interests, etc), so I would ensure you know exactly what your ideal customer looks like so you can target him.

As an example, target people by job title and even interests like business, entrepreneurship, self-employment, etc which would probably give you a perfect target audience. That would probably be the best way to go about it to to test the waters. Also go by interests and what your wholesale product is ... so if it's gym equipment you can easily target fitness, working out, health, diet and gym by interests for your target audience.

Why don't you do try to test different type of ads and measure and analyze the results?

    All the best.

You should use Facebook's audience tool - you will be able to find your target market easily.
