Stupid Qassia.... Here's My Rant!
 
I wrote an article today, the first in a long time. I thought I would upload it to Qassia.com since they want non-published articles submitted there before anywhere else.

As I attempt to login, a notice comes up that my account was closed due to me violating their TOS. Knowing that I did nothing to do so, I decided to email them about it asking why my account was closed.

Here's the response I received....

Needless to say, if you join them and have your PIPS site as the site you're promoting, you'll have your account cancelled also as you're promoting nothing but scams!

Wow Alan,

They are obviously incapable of recognising the value of the articles you write!

I wouldn't worry too much, looking at their stats

Not very impresive in my view - less than 2 articles per user ....

Hi Graham,

Yeah, I was just looking for some backlinks from them. I have plenty of other sites to use. I'm done wasting my time with them. I've already moved on. ;)

Just wanted to make people aware of this and blow off some steam.

Just got a response to my reply. I'll paste it below. This should strike quite a discussion, so hopefully more people will see this...

Hi,

This really burns my butt !

Pips gives me a monthly income, every month for the past 5 years ...it only costs me my hosting fees. I did not join the other programs. Well, i did join empowerism when it 1st came out.

I got kicked out for some reason and lost whatever money that I put into it...I have no clue, why I was removed. I never did anything with it ! I tried contacting them but never got a reply..shrug

Anyway, that was a sour experience.

But to say pips is a scam, that is ludicrous. I never even promote it anymore and I still get my checks. Always seems like one leaves and then a week later someone joins.

actually, is anything new going on with pips, I haven't really checked anything out in the last 6 months. I need to start promoting it again and quit buying all those wso's.

He sounds like a person that has personal experience
in getting scammed!

I would just let him sit and wonder about you! If you tell
him the truth he won't believe you anyway! It is him that
has issues not you. Therefore, I'd leave him in suspense!

Hi Jeff,

Nice to see you around. A lot has changed with PIPS within the last 6 months... and I mean a lot! LOL. The sticky threads might give you some insights about what is different. The core programs have changed.

Had me curious so I logged into my account (with no problem). Thought I would rate some Intels and I see now you do not get credit for rating until 12 people have also rated. So if only 11 people rate, no credits.

They have changed a lot.

Still can't figure out how to use the $8200 in Qassia money....lol

Yeah, credit doesn't happen until after 12 people have rated it. From what I saw all intel pretty much got 12 ratings from people. My intel was always rated and live within a day or two max. I only had two articles on there, though.

The Qassia money was something I could never figure out. What's the point of it?

That guy is a complete moron. Anyone who defines a scam as being something you put a lot of money in with very little return needs to get their head out of their butt. That's exactly how he put it... just with different wording.

It all comes down to how much work you put into a program or system. It's your own fault if you sink money into something and don't see any return, assuming the program does its job in teaching you what you need to know.

If I spend $1,000 on a program that teaches the ins and outs of internet marketing and shows how to make money online, and I do nothing with it and earn nothing, is that program a scam? NO!

Sorry that you had such a bad experience. Out of curiosity I just checked my account and it's still not closed. I've written at least 15 articles too. Hey it could be that my articles didn't sound as intelligent as yours did :). But you know something from the backlink tool provided by Graham that I just checked, it seems that all my articles are shown as 'no-follow'. Looks like I had wasted my time writing too.

Now that's interesting. I thought their purpose was supposed to help promote your business. There's no point if all the links are "nofollow". I mean, Yahoo and MSN will pick up those links, but let's face it, Google is what we want.

Well, that confirms my decision to not waste my time with them anymore.
