Help needed/WordPress Customization
 

Hi Everybody:D

Here is my problem.
I have Word Press installed by Host4Profit support on request in my epanel. Now I want to customize looks of my blog but cannot figure where to start.
Can anybody give me a lead on that?

Hi Amreen,
Firstly you should select some good theme and upload to your server and activate it. You have to try some before finalizing.
Secondly look for some plugins to enhance the functionality of blog.
Thirdly add some social bookmarking stuff it would not only enhance the user interface but also help in blog popularity.

First you need to change the name of the blog and add a tagline to it.

If you go into yoru WordPress Admin section and select "Appearance" and then "Editor" you can adjust the code of your site directly. ALWAYS make a backup forst before you start messing up the code this way.

If you are asking this question then probably you should just grab a good looking theme and install it. Don't play with code.

I would be careful in messing with the codes. I would suggest looking for a free theme you like and going with that. You can always easily add and remove the widgets and move them around to where you want.

If you do decide to try and change the code, make sure you back everything up before changing anything.
